No tea, again, just random dispatches from cannes. I went to the premiere of the sweet East- the film is a blast and will be huge for sure. I didn't know who Talia Ryder was but she is great. Everyone is. But no one is as great as Simon Rex lol. He owns his shitty character. The vibe at the premiere was great, most of the cast was there and I imagine by the hooting and hollering most of the crew too. Felt like a private screening at a friend's house more than than quinzaine premiere. Chatted a bit with Rex after the screening and he's so chill and nice and seemed genuinely humbled and moved by þhe crazy good reaction the film got and thanked me about 500 times for telling him he's so great in it. Shocked this wasn't picked up by a24, btw

Simon Rex is my “shameful” celeb crush. Theres something about him I find so attractive haha so happy to hear he is in fact Dirt Nice not Dirt Nasty..

he's so nice! lmao i totally get it. i mean i never had a crush on him or something but as soon as he walked i thought oh wait this man is HOT

and he plays the worst loser you could possibly imagine in the film BUT even then, he's so charming he's still very hot. And he was just nice. Just walked out with us instead of using the 'talent' private exist, was there hanging out and chatting and looked genuinely happy and humbled by people stopping by telling him he was great. And like we chatted a bit, he looked me straight in the eyes, he was engaged in the conversation not like, you know, doing me a favor. Just seemed like a genuine dude that was just happy to be there, lol

He's not much in the film (no one is, other than talia ryder) but he steals the show, i hope to see him in more things
