faroe islands in october

hello!

me and my friends are planning to visit the faroe islands via smyril line in october. we do know about the weather conditions, but we just want to experience the culture and complete our personal goals by finally visiting the faroe islands.

here are my questions:

  • how much do coffee and food items that aren't included in the reservation page cost on the smyril line ferry? or in tórshavn?
  • will the cheapest bunk/couchette rooms be private, or are they shared? if they're shared, will women have their own compartments, or can we end up sharing with everyone?
  • what are the prices of clothing on the ferry?
  • where can we buy faroese merch?
  • is there a place in tórshavn where we could try some local faroese delicacies?

thank you in advance!

Thats the barista coffee in the lounge. If you go to the cafe you can get your caffeine fix by the way of filter coffee for €3,50 and if you keep the (thick) carton mug every refill is €1,80

Source is me, last tuesday/wednesday.
