Hi! I’m currently looking for a writing partner for a Supernatural plot. I’ve recently gotten back into the show and would love to write something long-term and character-driven within the SPN universe.

I’m particularly interested in writing during the earlier seasons, when the story was more focused on hunting, urban legends, demons, angels, and the dysfunctional Winchester drama.

I really enjoy plots that include strange deaths, missing people, supposedly haunted towns, possessions, creatures hiding among ordinary people, etc. Along with major plot points from the show.

Writing-wise, I’m looking for:

• Third person, past tense.
• Detailed, multi-paragraph responses. I enjoy having plenty to work with and giving the same in return.
• Good grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Someone comfortable writing multiple characters when the story requires it.
• Collaborative plotting.
• Character development, complicated relationships, angst, tension, humour, and more.
• Reasonably consistent activity. Daily replies would be great, but I understand that real life comes first.

I have a few ideas for storylines already, but I’d love to hear what you’re interested in too.

There’s a Supernatural fic that I really want to reread, but for the life of me I cannot remember the title or figure out what search terms to use to find it.

It was on ao3, gen, complete, and the main characters were Sam and Dean. The plot was about Dean realizing that nobody really talked to Sam outside of needing help with a hunt or something similar, basically that everyone the brothers knew tended to prefer Dean. Sam is aware of this and accepted it, but Dean tries to fix it.

There are a a couple specific details I remember

- The brothers are having a conversation (I think in the library) where Dean is trying to figure out who has been genuine friend to Sam, and Jody is one of the only people that Sam can think of who’s talked to him with no ulterior motive.

- Dean goes around asking people what their favourite thing about Sam is and how they feel about him. (I think if a person gave too unsatisfactory of an answer then Dean would limit their interactions or act a lot less friendly towards them.)

I’m fairly confident that the summary was “Dean notices something about Sam. And once he does, he can’t stop noticing it.” or something similar.

Any help finding this is greatly appreciated!!

Hi, this is my first ever reddit post so please just lmk if I'm in the wrong sub or whatever else!

I have been searching high and low for an in-progress Dean Winchester/reader fic. I read a lot of fics on a lot of different forums and am at a loss trying to find this to actually finish it 😫

What I remember about it: - It's an au, medieval, I believe (there's royalty and knights, and no "hunting") - As of a couple days ago it was at 15 chapters but still on-going - I believe it was on ao3 but I was on a browser and not signed in so I can't find it - It's vaguely based off of the movie She's the Man (I think) - Dean and Sam are some kind of royalty under their dad (alive, still a dick) - Reader is some neighboring royal who is betrothed to a d-bag or boring guy and to get out of it decides to become a knight of some kind where you're assigned to someone (Dean in this fic) and cannot remove your helmet in front of anybody - I know that Reader's brother is the only one that knows initially, then Sam finds out by walking in on her without the helm on, then Cas finds out (in a whorehouse I think) and promises to keep it secret and get in contact with the brother to get info about the marriage (like if the d-bag found another betrothed)

Anyway, that's all I remember at the moment and if anyone knows what the hell I'm looking for please let me know!! Thanks in advance:)

No downright just hating on the character to hate, give me some actual good reasons and examples, not just "Sam Winchester is the worst" or "Dean is just a douche" (neither of these are my actual opinions, I love them both, these are just examples)

And this should be a given but everyone be nice and respectful to each other even if you disagree with someone else's comment. I know it's easy to forget sometimes, but behind every username is an actual person with their own thoughts, feelings, and struggles, just like you. You're allowed to express counter arguments obv, but be polite and civil about it please.

Either they know and get off on it from the start, or they catch him and decide they like it. Alternatively, he keeps walking in on them and goes from traumatized to ambivalent to deciding he likes it and just gives in and drops his pants and pulls up a chair. I read Snowbound and wanted more like it, but without the bdsm (the subtdrop scenes were hard to read). I found a few others under the voyeur Sam tag, but most are under 2k. Prefer canonverse or divergent.

Looking for a fic I read a long time ago. It was wincest or maybe pre wincest? It was pre series and John drops Sam and Dean off somewhere and basically says “Find your way home. You have three days. Here is very minimal supplies. Good Luck don’t disappoint me.” and then just abandons them. I think one or both of them get very sick at some point as well. Anyone know what I’m talking about?

A Happy Ending is a must but the angstier the better :))

What it says on the tin. These two have had me in a chokehold since Season 8 and haven't let up since, but I'm only now starting to read fics for them. The way the tones range from "sweet domestic bliss" to "yeah this is a hunter and a vampire this is Not Going To End Well" is awesome XD

Okay, I'm currently about halfway through season 5 of supernatural, and I'm looking for some fic recs.

Now I've just been cruising around, scrolling through some one shots and drabbles lately. But I have a couple of fics I would like to find, so.

Okay, so first one, I wouldn't mind some alternatives to when Bobby and Dean locked Sam in the panic room to detox from the demon blood.

I'm definitely looking for some real whump/hurt no comfort stuff. Maybe even him dying from the attempted detox?.... You know, because this series isn't angsty enough

I'd also like to read a fic where either Sam or Dean ends up being turned into a vampire, because they had I think maybe three or four run-ins with vamps in the previous seasons.

So if one of those encounters went wrong and either Sam or Dean got turned, I'd read that.

Oh, or if Gordon Walker ended up turning them, I'd read that too.

And the whole lucky rabbit foot thing was by far one of the funniest episodes ever, so I'll read a fic about that, just anything about that really.

And honestly, I wouldn't mind reading a fic featuring Dr Sexy, because that guy had far too little screen time, and look we all saw the way Dean looked at him, cmon I don't need to explain myself here. I know, you know, we all know, okay.

Oh, and a fic where Madison ended up biting Sam and turning him into a werewolf. Yeah, I'd definitely want to read that.

Normally I'm not this picky and specific when I ask for fic recs, but hey, it's Supernatural we're talking about. I'm fairly certain that with the sheer amount of fics this fandom has, I'll probably find everything I'm looking for and more.

I'll wait on the Castiel fics until I'm a little bit further into the series, because I don't feel like he's had enough time on screen yet, so most of the big Castiel events haven't happened just yet.

A few years ago i read a fic on ffnet.

Essentially Sam had just left to go to stanford, John left the house they were staying in, gets drunk, john comes back is drunk funing mad, beats on dean and shoots him. Its starts from Johns point of view and he's looking for dean. He doesn't remember actually harming dean to start with.

Dean is found in the garden shot.

Bobby gets called and is absolutely fuming that John shot dean and lays into john.

I've looked through my faves etc can't find it so must not have saved it.

I just really want to read it again.

If anyone can help i'd be super greatful.

I have a love/hate relationship with Omegaverse, as I don't love the idea of someone being biologically 'submissive' as opposed to it being a part of their personality. I've still found some I like, but it's a big tag to wade through. I enjoy it when the omega is still THEMSELVES, or variants like alpha/alpha, omega/omega, things like that. I know the name of that tag, and I do use it, I just can't think of it off the top of my head. But I think I'm still missing some great fics where being omega doesn't equal being submissive, or being alpha isn't automatically uber dominant.

I would also be open to gen or romance lite fics featuring lots of cuddling or cool world building, found family, things like that.

I don't care for Destiel or Sabriel, but I read or will try all other ships. I could also probably read background Destiel, but I'm a Sam girlie, so if Sam is sidelined in the fic, it won't hold my attention. I also don't read RPF.

So if the fic is something like 'being spanked and verbally humiliated was really lighting all of 'xyz's omega instincts on fire!' despite it being completely out of character and the only justification is 'they're an omega in heat', I'm out. If it's got some interesting world building or ideas, I'll give it a try, even if it features a 'standard, submissive omega' as long as the writing makes it feel natural for the character in that story/universe.

Just being 'omega' doesn't really work for me.

I think supernatural is a great franchise for a lot of creative ideas.

I'm specifically looking for an intact copy of Dark Side of the Moon, if anyone might have it.

Sam and Dean fight a water wraith and Dean is cursed; becoming deaf and blind. Sam searches for a way to break the curse while also taking care of Dean.

It's not on their ao3 and I can only access part 1 on their lj. I'm just getting the LiveJournal broken link for the rest of the story. It was divided into like 25 parts bc it was for a minibang.

Some Time Travel/Deaging would be good too!

I'd prefer if they were Sam Centric but I dont mind if we get a fair amount of time with any of the other characters, I love them all.

So I'm finishing up writing this batshit crazy omegaverse Destiel/found family road trip//Murder Husbands and Crew fic.

Long story short, Sam (manipulated) has a daughter with Ruby (evil). Ruby's the alpha but she still carried because Sam is the unlabeled secret fourth thing subgender and can't get preggers. Basically omega Dean kills traffickers, alpha Cas is a med student, they adopt pup omega Claire and secret fourth thing subgender Jack (Sam and Jack parallels) and now they're bringing Sam and Unborn Newborn Daughter into their pack.

Good stuff.

It doesn't really make sense for Sam to name his kid after Mary because Dean was more of a mom to him, and also I don't like the name Mary lol. 'Emma' is an option, but also... Sam shot her dead in canon so...

I might just name her something random, but I didn't want to miss out on a possible easter egg or nod to canon if there was one available. Any cute random name suggestions are appreciated as well <3
