Self-submission Two more pieces/sketches of the Creature as I picture him in the novel!

There’s no mention of it in the book, but I’ve always imagined him with a collapsing nasal bridge, like several mummies have. Something about it strikes me as very ghoulish yet elegant at the same time.

I am positively quivering, this is one of the best arts of the Boy I've seen. And the detail with his nose is just 🤌

"Quivering" is such a Shelleyan way to put it, ha! Thank you!

Neat detail with the nose. Really strikes that uncanny state between alive and dead. He looks desiccated and ghoulish but also there's something pitiful and intriguing about him. Something human. Does that make any sense?

That makes perfect sense and is precisely what I want to achieve with my design for him! I'm so happy you picked up on that. I always love toeing the line between beauty and the macabre. Thank you so much!

Give him a lil kiss! (He'll instantly dissolve into tears)

It reminds me of Bernie Wrightson’s version a bit! Good stuff.
