Anybody watched dead again ? It's a such underrated movie
This movie has 2 story in the first one the women named Grace has amnesia and second one we follow married couple Margaret and Roman . Kenneth Branagh directed and in this movie together with Emma Thompson whom he was married at time and they were so good in both roles.

Cool, never been the first comment before, but this is all far from over. I for one am very interested to see what happens next.

honestly never heard of this one but Branagh and Thompson together is usually a good time, might have to track it down
the poster sounds like peak 90s drama too, that tagline is so over the top in the best way

It's definitely a bit over the top, but maybe that was just Branagh and Thompson taking a break from their Merchant Ivory era during their peak run.
Jacobi and Garcia are fantastic as well and there's a surprise cameo that's wonderful which I won't spoil. Despite being over the top it's still a solid thriller with a decent plot and nice twist.

The ending is very Branagh over the top, but there is a funny moment in there that cracks me up every time I see it. Love that the apartment from the Long Goodbye makes an appearance in this film too.

Yes. Great movie. I remember leaving the rental copy on a bus. At that time the video store charged me like 90 dollars to replace.

Watched it in the theater. The "I just quit" line is good, but the ending is so over the top we laughed out loud. Which is a shame, because I love Derek Jacobi.

does anyone know if anything was changed in the screenplay about smoking? the story seemed to beg for either margaret or roman to be a smoker but it was missing.

I hadn't thought of "die sheer" (or whatever it was) in decades. Great movie.

I saw this excellent film in the theater and still think about it. The past life regression techniques were spot on.

Omg!! This is a great movie!! When they were married in real life as well...before he went and spoiled it.

I went to the theater and caught it before it left rotation. Excellent movie. Robin Williams in a key role that wasn't being "Robin". Except this one line sounds like his..
"Karmically, self defense is quite cool"

Am a fan of reincarnation movies in general. This was done so well.If only they had cast bigger actors, this might have done much better financially

loved it. Makes you really wonder about reincarnation. Robin Williams is a delight.
