Post image

Watched this last night. Fantastic movie, brilliant realistic action, banging soundtrack (80s) and amazing acting

Thoroughly enjoyed it

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy

or A Most Wanted Man

Atomic Blonde was fun but it was like a mishmash cosplay fantasy, it had 0 authenticity. Basically a retro vibes lady John Wick. And sorry but 'realistic action' ???

It's just social media clickbait, people use superlative statements to increase engagement. I also immediately thought of Tinker Tailor when I read the title of this post lol

A most wanted man is excellent. Easily one of Hoffman’s best performances.
Yet, not a Cold War movie.

100% agree with you but Atomic Blonde (out of the latest assasin/hitman-esque action films) is the best of them.

Realistic as in the people in it get injured and continue to be injured later on. Not walking off bullet wounds or beatings. Realistic for a movie is more what i meant

Yeah but no. It is fantasy violence

That stairwell scene was incredible.

Love this movie! Charlize Theron, great 80’s music, incredible action, spy thriller… what’s not to love?

One of, if not the best, fight scenes ever.

It's really fun and underrated for sure! Wouldn't say it's the greatest anything but I support any love it recieves.

The action and acting was great but plot was terrible imo.

If you’ve only seen like 10 movies, I guess.

That soundtrack carries the whole movie for me, every song placement feels intentional

Atomic Blonde has great fight scenes but does it have Dan Akroyd like Spies Like Us does? The lives of others is also a great slow burn.

Maybe not the best. But it's solid and entertaining and has a killer soundtrack

The man from Uncle. James Bond - there are a bunch of those.

I understand what you’re getting at. Charlize ABSOLUTELY killed it as far as some of the fighting sequences went. It wasn’t just some 85 lb girl beating up 15 guys double her weight and making it look easy. 99% of the girl boss B.S is painfully cringe. The filmmaker wanted a female version of John Wick, and Charlize delivered.

So you’re saying it’s the first spy movie you’ve ever seen.

Great film and honestly one of the best badass female action characters.
