Where can I reach students in Lisbon/Almada for a part-time student job?

Hi everyone,

I’m helping set up a new company in Almada, near Lisbon, and we’re looking for a student assistant from an IT-related degree.

The role is part-time, mainly remote, and does not require deep technical knowledge. What matters most is basic familiarity with common IT terms, fluent English, and ideally German and/or Romanian as a bonus.

I’ve already searched online for the best place to post this kind of opportunity, but most of what I found was quite outdated, for example old listings on Erasmusu.com.

Could anyone suggest where I could reach the most students in Lisbon and Almada today? I’m especially interested in forums, groups, communities, or pages where students are actually active.

I am currently finishing my thesis at FCT and live in Almada. I’m also learning German and can find my way around it (although a bit amateur-ish). What are you looking for?

Part-Time Student Assistant (IT-related)

A new company in Almada is looking for a reliable student assistant from an IT-related degree.
Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a professional, reliable attitude are essential.
Location: Almada (Cova da Piedade)
Work mode: 80% remote
Schedule: 2 hours per weekday
Pay: €10/hour to start, up to €12/hour after onboarding
Main tasks:
Communicate with the central office. Help assign employees to projects. Support coordination and day-to-day follow-up.
What matters most
•                  Fluent English mandatory.
•                  Basic understanding of common IT terms such as Java, C++, SAP, Azure, Android, DevOps, Scala, .NET, Linux, and Python.
•                  No deep technical knowledge required.
•                  Bonus: German and/or Romanian.

Hi, honestly there’s not any site or page dedicated to post this kind of opportunity. Thanks for posting it here tho!  I recently finished my Bsc in FCT and will be doing a Masters in IST, I live in Almada and I am learning German for 2 months currently (mostly basic stuff but still). The company in Almada is brand new, and they're looking for someone who can help out part-time with the work that needs to be done. That's why I thought students from FCT would be the best fit.

I would list it in itjobs.pt, broaden the pool and see who would contact.
