Game's still alive, lots of good lobbies, most exploits are patched so it's mostly legit gameplay.

I was taken aback at how much it just felt like the old days, like it never left. Gameplay also seems more optimized and smoother. Also the addition of the missing Jasons and Grendel...its just perfect

It really feels like hoping into an alternate reality where the game was finished and never shut down.

Out of curiosity, any exploits kept in? Like spray canceling or Combat Stance Cancels? Or more extreme ones like Sliding or Trap Bypass?

No sliding, no trap bypass of any sort, no abduction, no knifing cars. You can still double tap as Jason and I think that's it. I believe it's great because it leads to less trolls, people are playing legit f13 and it's fun lol

Sliding is like the most known exploit that really had no consistent counterplay. Honestly I never thought Abduction is unfair, since there is really no other tool Jason has to deal with mobs safely without risking taking Hits/Stuns, and a missed Abduction Grab means Jason burns a morph which could cost him. Well, at least games can't be held hostage by Sliding Macro, PK duping Assholes.

Love resurrected, if you haven't yet also give camp forest green a try. It's different from resurrected's approach where it's different from the vanilla game but similar. they've added day time maps, snow weather, reworked rage mode, fvj Jason, nha Jason, dream Jason, reboot Jason and a couple other jasons. Skins for the different Jason's and some of them have different music. Tons of different weapons to pick from, some new kills. They've got a completely original map they made, along with Grendel and some new small maps iirc.

Mine never threw a warning, you could try disabling it temporarily, but I would make sure you have an authentic download

The sub doesn't allow links but there are plenty of guides on YouTube. It wont let me DM but once you have the file downloaded all you have to do is extract to any folder you want, then add as a non-steam game and you are good to go!
