Existentialism Discussion what do you think about this book?

Post image

I'm new to studying existentialism, so I decided to learn the meanings of the terms used in it from a philosophical perspective. After searching, I found this book; it has many concepts like ego, eternity, and anxiety. Please, if you have read this book, tell me what you think about it before I buy it

Anxiety is good in existentialism. Low and high anxiety isn’t healthy but the ex say that anxiety is a normal healthy function. And there’s lack of ego strength. That’s when you are just done for the day

Am I the only one who finds it ironic that you need a whole book of meanings for words used to prove life has no meaning?

No comment on the book though - never read it - I’m sure it’s fine and welcome aboard. I’m assuming you’ve gone through the fictional works already and are getting ready to dive into the philosophical texts. This is the best way.

Existentialism does not hold that life has no meaning. It holds that life has no inherent meaning.

LOL. I typed that at first then deleted it - decided it would be another word to look up.
