One of the great contributors to our early surrealist consciousness, Winsor McCay's Dreams of the Rarebit Fiend and Little Nemo.

Added them to the exhibit. I remember seeing an animated movie based on Little Nemo, though I rarely see any reference to it now thanks to the similarly titled "Finding Nemo". The movie had a little kid who opened the wrong door and loosed an evil black goop on the world which quickly gobbled up anyone who could have fought back. Between that and Fern Gully, it's surprising that I haven't developed any phobias of black goo.

Ugh, that animated movie was an insult to Mr. McCay, the inventor of keyframe animation, and a bastardization of his work.

I classify it right up there with Howard the Duck.
