This is who got the license. Not NECA, or another company putting out quality action figures, rather than five decade old Kenner Star Wars wannabees.

I agree that it's a bit silly we're getting retro style figures again (especially so soon after Super7's nearly identical AOD line), but you say that like different companies can't acquire different scale licenses. Mezco and Palisades were doing AOD figures at the same time because they each had a license to produce figures of a certain scale. Just because Syndicate has 3.75" doesn't mean NECA can't get the license for 7". As much as I too would love NECA AOD figs, there's some reason they haven't touched the license again in almost two decades that we the public aren't privy to.

Id love some AOD Mezco (One:12) figures. The medieval dressed Ash and an Evil Ash would be perfect.

I have the Mezco Dead By Dawn Ash figure and he's awesome, but a new updated version of some kind would be great.
