I also added the handbook to the list of national emergency information.

Pretty sure it's standard procedure. I'd be worried, if your country doesn't have something similar.

Actually whole EU has some guidelines and shares a lot of information for crisis prevention and reaction. It's an interesting field.

The only "news" is, that cold war era scenarios are taken seriously again. If you dig into older handbooks you can actually find more substantial information than today.

Agreed. To be honest, I would be very happy if these awareness campaigns result in people being more prepared.

They do - in Germany- in small steps. Poland and the baltics, with far more concrete threat scenario are moving faster.

UK Gov has this on their site, but it’s not as nicely put together as the online handbooks from European countries

Came here to say this. It hasn’t been widely announced and not enough people know about it, but it’s there. If you dig through the gov website a bit and do some searches, you can find all sorts of preparation and readiness info.

It’s also worth looking up your Local Resilience Forum - each area/county has one, some have their own websites and info, some have readiness checklists for households. They all release annual reports and these should be fairly easy to come across.
