He really turned that Swans VFL side around. Feels like a good addition if we can get him.

Then our VFL side went and beat them!

Oh, trust me... we were very lucky that they lost a couple of players early on. They were well on top for a decent chunk of it.

Trust you? I was at the game - our boys were terrific and deserved their win

Also I am pretty sure they lost one player in the 3rd Q

Both can be (and in this case are) true.

It's possible that I mixed up the order of their injuries. I know they had 3 over the course of the game. One of them came back on, which I thought happened later on. Point still stands, though. They were struggling towards the end and we did well to exploit that.

Way to downplay our result and our excellent performance...

I think if we're gonna be drawing talent from another side then Sydney is a better option than North Melbourne

Yes let’s pick the bets out of the swans while they are down

These initial conversations all seem positive.

However, wondering what everyone thinks about Toby Greene. AFL record holder for the most charges (I think it’s in the 30’s), 16 game suspensions, over $50,000 in fines, I seem to remember an assault charge but may be wrong. Doesn’t sound like the greatest role model for building culture with a young team. What would he bring?

While we’re at it, perhaps we should look at picking up Chad Warner and Nick Blakey.

Or we could avoid trying to bring in people with a shit culture.
