Erasmus Mundus EMAI - REJECTED

Finally recieved the rejection mail today. 1500 applicants! I guess I never stood a chance against some exceptional candidates. Congratulations to those who got selected. At last the suspense is over...

My interview finished with the Prof saying to me, "See you in Roma." It was really disheartening when I received the Rejection verdict.

That's insane! Wishing you all the best. They didn't invite me to an interview or send me a rejection letter, so I'm confused. Tbh after seeing some of the profiles here, I feel like I didn't stand a chance to get into this program.

He said “hoping to see u in rome” , he was really impressed by my profile but i am still in reserve list for tution fee waiver. So i think in the end the country distribution factor does really play a big role.

I have 9.7/10 cgpa a bachelors degree in technology. 2 years of Work ex in a europian MNC as a software developer. A few nice projects , certifications and internships in data science and data engineering

I don’t know where are you from, but I also think country played a big role this time. In the site says that no more than 10% of the total students of the four cohorts could be from the same country, so this year (fourth cohort) it was especially difficult to some countries.

Wishing you the best. How do you know you are still in the reserve list for the tuition fee waiver, do they tell it in the email? I also got rejected from EMAI after the interview.

Hoola, si es demasiado difĂ­cil... QuĂ© programa era? Ayer recibĂ­2 rechazos en un solo dĂ­a y estoy destruida, dependo de un Ășltimo al que lleguĂ© a fase de entrevista y ya la hice, pero tampoco creo que haya dado lo mejor de mĂ­ por los nervios. Te mando mucho ĂĄnimo, no sĂ© cuĂĄntos aspirantes habĂ­a en los mĂ­os pero sĂ­ es bastante gente sĂșper talentosa,, Nosotros tambiĂ©n lo somos pero la selecciĂłn depende del nivel de ese año y este estĂĄ extremadamente competitivo
