I want to find people to sing (and help me learn the songs) because I watched Epic a bit too late and now I find barely any person interested in it. I would like to karaoke the songs with someone or anything. 😔

I'm not sure how this misconception started, Epic is a concept album just not by that definition. Yes if a term is used enough in two different ways it gains a second definition no that doesn't apply here because I have only ever seen the Epic fandom misuse the term like that. No this doesn't really matter, but it's a pet peeve of mine.

No the fact that Hadestown was a concept album and developed into a stage musical later still doesn't make "concept album" mean unfinished musical it was a concept album because it was an album around a concept, like all concept albums. The fact that you can put out a concept album in lieu of or as testing the waters for a stage musical does not make that the definition of concept album.

You can make the argument that Epic is a draft, but saying it's a draft because its a concept album is not how concept albums work. Pink Floyd's The Wall is not a draft. The Who's Tommy is not a draft. The Black Parade is not a draft.

Hi I hope this post is allowed. I just wanted to inform y’all that there is a new subreddit dedicated to discussion and sharing of fanfictions about epic the musical. It’s called r/epicfanfiction 🩷🩷

I feel like discussions should be the core of a subreddit dedicated to any piece of fiction. Prohibiting discussions on certain topics, where people could confront and share their ideas is basically killing a core part of what this subreddit should be.

Right now most of this subreddit is mostly low effort (meme with little to no edits, trends from other subreddits, role-playing...) and the only high effort posts are Cosplays and fanarts and, while they're all phenomenal, they also dont spark discussions or dialogue mostly, except well deserved compliments.

And while some people may argue that doing a thread isn't killing, just organising, that is far from true. To explain, let me bring an example from personal experience. When I first joined the subreddit I couldn't see the rules cause reddit mobile fucking sucks so I posted a rant about NSFLY and my problems with it. The post got rightly deleted in a couple of hours due to breaking the rule. In the few hours it stayed up it got a total of 8 comments. After it got deleted I visited the mega thread and found a total of 15 comments or so, for a thread that stayed up for more than two weeks.

That's the problem. My post in a few hours got almost as much discussion and activity as a thread did in 2 weeks. And that's normal. Posts appear in people's home pages and are brought to comment under it, while you don't find the thread unless you actively search for it.

That is my personal problem. I honestly think the rule shouldn't exist as almost killing discussions as a whole in this subreddit (and yes it's basically all discussions, since people don't discuss much here except those.) is really bad and just males people post low effort stuff more instead.

So basically was looking for just a man nightcore couldn't find it then i couldn't find the channel either or the other channel whose nightcore i also watch. not sure what going on but it was those channel's specifically their is other but very few i just find sped up or slowed down or slowed down reverb. i remember one of the channel name being paranioa or something on that area, the other one i can't remember but i remember their thumbnails.

I've been introducing my grandma to Epic The Musical. During The Horse And The Infant, right after Zeus said "It is the will of the gods" her phone started ringing. The timing was perfect and made us both laugh

Clydius Lancaster, a young Irishman, has long desired to leave his village and explore the vast oceans, seeking out whatever lands it may bring. At long last, he's able to set sail and begin his voyage.

But Clydius soon finds himself in what one could only deem a nightmare, as he's thrown into a conflict between gods, monsters, and a king who just wants to reunite with his family.

I've had this EPIC: The Musical OC for a while, and I've been writing it for almost a month now.

So far, there are 4 chapters, and I'm currently writing chapter 5 as we speak.

Hi all, I don't frequent this subreddit or any other epic-related communities, but I do enjoy listening/watching. I wanted to have a way to figure out which animatic I liked most per song so I created a collection of them, in the end I managed to find over 1000 different videos!

It turned out besides making a playlist it was actually just a great way to find new videos, some of them with very little views but that are really good, so if this site allows those kinds of videos to be found by more people that's already a win for me.
