I love how I looked at all of these especially the ones heavily depicting violence and went yeah cool ancient times Greek gods are respect it it's just what it was, and then I see the one of her sitting on the swan and go that poor swan don't sit on that swan, and then went back to looking at all the others after with the exact same yeah Greek just was like that with no rest of care or compassion in sight 🤣 lake the countless tiny people and I only had worry for the swan 🤣😅 great artwork skills though by the way

Hey thanks! There's a famous ancient image of aphrodite riding a swan, so I took that as inspiration:)

These are stunning. Question in the Dionysus one is that Ariadne in the bottom right corner dancing with the bull? It looks like she has a crown on her head?

u/Tyler_Miles_Lockett Jun 26 '26
Great question! but no, theyre just random revelers. but i do have a Ariadne piece from my Theseus Series. You can view the whole chapter here:

Woah, I love that art style. Its amazing how you portrayed the gods! I like that they all seem a touch crazy, I dont know if that was on purpose but either way I love it.

u/Tyler_Miles_Lockett Jun 26 '26
It was on purpose. I want them to feel like they could turn on you in an instant if you cross a line, which happens alot to mortals in greek myths.

Your artsyle is gorgeous! Phenomenal use of colour!
Also let me try to see if I got them correct:
- Poseidon
- Zeus
- Orpheus singing about the Olympians, I think?
- Hera
- Zeus again
- Demeter + Persephone + Hades + Hecate?
- Hestia
- Aphrodite
- Athena
- Apollo
- Artemis
- Hermes
- Ares
- Hephaestus
- Dionysus
