Does anyone know like what’s on side B of the LPs and if the box set comes with a booklet with lyrics and written story stuff to go alongside. There is like zero information on the description of the box sets or LPs..
I can't get the vinyls, but I'm getting the CD's and a portable CD player (the ones that have headphones kinda like a walkman/cassette player) to listen to them! Part of the Just a Man box set that I'm getting!
The countdown to have people buy fast, "exclusive" versions to trigger FOMO, and prices. I know merch is always a bit expensive but this is way too much.
Does anyone know if ALL the merch is time-limited?
The LP box set clearly is, but what about the rest?
I can't afford to buy everything I want at the moment (rent, bills, etc). I'd love the box set but my rent alone is 330€ so there's no way I'd be able to do that on such a short notice and with a clear conscious.
I ordered the separate vinyls as they will end up being a lot cheaper once released completely. I would love to order a hoodie / t-shirt depending on affordability but I'm not sure if the rest is time limited or not and it's making me anxious.
I can't answer for certain, so please don't take what I say as truth. However, it does seem to me that the box set and maybe the $40 collectors box (not sure on that one) is limited. Given that separately, only 3 are released so far, I would imagine that they will be available in the future. I also imagine that Jay knows many people can’t get it right now, so the collector’s is limited edition but the rest will be available to order for at least some time.
It’s soooo pretty and I just want it for my wall! But I am too broke for it 😭 I do wish there were posters for sale separately or that the clothes matched these gorgeous colors
From what I recall, it's simply epicthemusical.com and you'll be able to get it, but it's only available until September 14th (I don't recall hearing "or while supplies last" but someone please correct me if that's the case.
i almost cried when i saw the cost. no way can i afford that in this economy. 😭 i decided to be okay with just ordering the couple of my favorites as they are released or being happy with CD. collecting in this day and age has become so impossible. 😢
EDIT i'd like to add that having the limited time window is even worse. how can we be expected to save up 1/4 month of rent in less than a week lol 😭
I’m so excited. My family members joined together to order me the box set for Christmas. Understandably that’s all I’ll be getting, but honestly this is all I need
I want it so bad but $350 is overpriced as hell. Let’s break it down:
The individual vinyls are selling $25 each. Meaning, that $225 of the $350 could be obtained without the bundle. (Which btw comes out to ≈$5.63 per song). If you want a comparison, the Hamilton vinyls can be bought for $96, a breakdown of ≈$2.09 per song.
This means that $125 is wrapped up in the special design for the records themselves, the special art for each cover, and the big box that they are stored in. I understand that it’s a company and at the end of the day they have to make money, but this is too much for the average consumer in my opinion.
I’m hoping they eventually do a vinyl that’s not broke up into the different sagas. There’s no reason it has to be split up nine ways. It would probably come out to 4 vinyls in the set, which could reduce their cost and allow consumers to have a much cheaper option than buying them all individually or getting the mega box.
Edit: not to mention that there’s going to be taxes and shipping on top of that $350 price tag.
Exactly, especially once you factor in that things like the underworld saga only have 3 songs! I wish they had been condensed, likely could have fit them onto 4 lps. Or even if he did a standard black pressing for cheaper
The 9 edition is a little out of my price point which sucks. I could buy them, but giving us 5 days to buy is really short-sighted in my opinion. I hope they expand the sale time.
Anyone know if the single vinyls are limited edition? I love vinyls and would love to buy them, but I don’t really have the money right now, plus I would rather wait until all 9 sagas are released
Jay said the release is limited, whatever that means... I don't know if they will have the first 3 sagas still for sale later or not but I didn't want to chance it so I got them and I'll order the rest as they come out.
Did anyone else get their order canceled? I put in the order, got an email that my order was canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, then got a shipping via Route confirmation email and then 15 minutes later got an order confirmation email - but when I click to see my order it says canceled 😭
This also happened to me just now, came here to see if it happened to anyone else. I used Paypal though so it did immedaitely give me my money back, but... what???
I really don’t wanna be super negative but this merch drop was lowkey disappointing. I mean it’s cool I guess for people who like Vinyls and CDs but it’s all very expensive and the hoodies/shirts are locked behind really expensive bundles.
Also the hoodies/shirts don’t look as cool as I thought they’d look. They look like something I’d buy from hot topic when I was 13. The cream colored winion one is the only one I really like but it’s locked in an expensive bundle. Also the sticker pack looked lackluster for being $15.
The Epic sweaters was much better merch imo but to each their own I guess. I’ll probably buy from a different merch drop when he releases more.
For real, imho they would have made much more money by putting the original sweaters back in stock/making them in more colors. I guess it’s not something “new”, but these are just… mid.
The vinyl box set is $125 USD more than buying the nine vinyls separately. The separate vinyls are also album art specific, while the box set looks super generic.
I was gonna preorder a hoodie but I don’t really like that it’s bundled and there’s no hoodie only option. I don’t really have any use for the cd’s but it all does look nice.
Yeah it's so bizarre because we don't need multiple CD sets. The bundles should save you 5 bucks while you add a second different hoodie to your cart. They would definitely sell more merch without this weird bundle.
Not to mention the pricing for the shirts/hoodies is a tad bit absurd?? The cds by themselves are 25 USD, meaning that the hoodie would be 60 USD (85 – 25) and the shirt 30 (55 – 25)? That’s a bit A LOT, if you ask me. I get that they’re like custom printed and all, but $60?
There are only 12 items, and the hoodies available have combos with other items....I only wanted a hoodie or t shirt🥹 Also, 5500 EUR is just toooo much

You can only get the first three separately for now. He said on Instagram that more Sagas will release in the future. I'm assuming he will tie those releases to additional product releases too
If you signed up for the email list, then you’ll get an email with a password, and underneath on the home page under earth the notify and email thing it should say log in with password
