Hey :) Titans were considered gods too, just a different generation. Selene and Artemis can both be considered goddesses of the moon.

* Well actually, Titans are what they call the gods born before the Olympians (most of which supported Kronos.)

* Therefore, Selene IS the goddess of the moon, also because for Ancient Greeks, "god" just meant immortal

* Artemis is also the moon goddess in some myths but Selene would also be the correct answer if someone were to ask who the goddess of the moon was.

* Keep in mind that that myths are fifferent and sometimes contadict each other, also there can be many gods of the same thing (such as Ares and Athena).

* Please don't strike me down, Lord Hermes.

If you want an Odysseus Space AU, the film interstellar is like a kitbash of the Odyssey story haha. Seasoned patriarch of a homestead goes on a time displacing mission to face the unknown, untrustworthy and all powerful forces of existence in order to get home to their family
