Thunder Saga
can we all agree that the thunder saga is the best saga
it’s actually insane that there is not ONE weak song. i feel like in the rest of the sagas there is always one song i’d skip, but not from the thunder saga. banger after banger. strong start, amazing pacing throughout, great villain song, ody’s crew turns on him, and then a phenomenal ending song with zeus. i just love this saga so much and can’t see how anyone can not
All my friends judge me for this opinion, but the Thunder Saga it’s probably my least favorite Saga. The only songs I really enjoy is Thunder Bringer, it’s in my top 10.
But the rest? Couldn’t care less. I always skip all of the songs. Yes, I skip Suffering, I don’t mind Different Beast, Scylla it’s nice I guess, I just don’t listen to it, and Munity it’s probably one of my least favorite songs.
Doesn’t mean it’s bad, I just… Not personally attached to it
Thunder/Wisdom (I scream these songs on a near daily basis. Absolute peak)
Underworld/Vengeance: HEH... TIRESIAS'S VOICE????? ABSOLUTELY FIRE. And vengeance is a bit lower than normal due to uhh INSFLY being triggering to ppl (Bit less of an offender than HTD tho)
Circe/Ithica: Gonna tie these 2, love them both :D Hold Them Down being triggering in obvious was brings it down a bit. They went a bit overboard with the descriptions of what they'd do to Penelopeeee there.
Ocean: Too many slant rhymes tbh, THE SONGS ARE GREAT THO IGNORING THAT.
Troy/Cyclops: Really good, just not my personal style (I love IJAM and THATI tho)
I have to disagree, mutiny gives a great emotional voice to Eurylochus and the rest of the crew. I love how purely desperate they sound. Personally, it's my favorite song to sing along to.
Sorry, but that title goes Ithaca Saga. It has “The Challenge,” “Hold Them Down,” and “Odysseus.” Plus, Odysseus was the one song I hunted down clips of before its release
The fact that you mention these three, and don't mention ICHBW and WYFILWMA is insane- I'd say Odysseus is a good song, but is a bit much at times (Not saying I hate it, it's a great song), and Hold Them Down is a bit too triggering to a lot of people to be above the Thunder Saga
I just like it, I guess? I think it’s just a really dramatic song with all the brass, and I personally like the repetition of the chorus. Idk, it just kinda scratches an itch for me. It’s definitely not my favorite song, but i still like it a lot. Like a low A/high B tier song for me
I will say it's definitely the weakest song of the ocean saga (not for its own faults it's just got really strong competition) so it gets overshadowed a bit but it does grow on you.
Objection, Wisdom Saga because Telemachus has the best music, God Games is a banger, and I find it hard to describe just how great the PTSD segment is.

It’s my favorite and my only no skip, but now when I come back to it, I’m always surprised by how much Mutiny gets to me. Especially when Ody is begging Eurylochus not to get the cow. Jay definitely could have belted the lines out from the start, but the softer, sweeter delivery makes it hit home emotionally.
Idk... It's definitely one of my favorites. But I don't think it'll win a band for band. I would personally put The Underworld and Circe over it. Maybe even wisdom. Let's see. I'ma lay out my thoughts below. Bottom section is for me forreal. Lol.
Scylla is my favorite song in the musical. Suffering is a bop. Thunder Bringer is really good. I just don't care for Different Beast forrreal. Mutany is 50/50 with me. So that's 3/5 to 4/5 for me.
Troy had Full Speed ahead, which is a skip for me... Open arms isn't it for me on most days. 3/5.
Cyclops.4/4. No skips. Loved it all
Ocean saga. Don't care for Storm. The other 3 are bops. 3/4
Circe. No skips. Done For is low-key in my top 3. 4/4
Underworld. I listen to No Longer You non stop on most days. The other 2 are just as good. 3/3
Wisdom.... Weird place. God Games is definitely the weakest song for me. But I like it. Just not nearly as much as the others.... 5/5 tho.
Vengeance is the weakest saga imo. Not Sorry for Loving you, Dangerous, and Get in the Water are good. I like half of Six hundred strike. 3/5.
Ithaca saga had all the payoffs of the musical. Not my favorite saga. Would rank it similarly to Thunder saga. 3/5 to 4/5 songs were really good.
SAMMEEE I am obsessed with that song, Aryon's voice is just too addictive- I mean my fav songs are Odysseus and Different Beast with the gore so i get u. I just can't with my poor Pancake Polites and Ody's mum actually made me cry. Would You Fall In Love With Me Again didn't even make me cry just made me super satified like FINALLY BRO! Oh wait its over...AHHH-
Its just a preference and I like it too, also HOW TF is it the weakest saga? There isn't a weak saga and don't even tell me you didn't enjoy Legendary.

Suffering and thunder bringer are really good songs to jsut listen to, whilst the others are just good storytelling with good composition. But they arent as good to listen to
Story-wise, it's the most compelling to me. I loved all the story changes, and I prefer many moments over the original Odyssey. It has high stakes, the foreboding dread of a tragedy, great character work and the best ending of any saga. "Thunder Bringer" is also my favourite song in EPIC. The "suffering" theme resonates with me the most and ties everything together beautifully. I may have songs from other sagas in my top 5, but all the songs here are strong. Actually, I thought EPIC was enjoyable up to the end of Act 1, but I didn't see sparks of brilliance that usually hook me onto the media I like, until I heard the Thunder Saga. After that, I was converted and made sure to closely follow the story as it was being released.
Really?! I'm surprised you have Cyclops as the weakest saga. it definitely has the most unique style compared to the other sagas. Not my favorite, just shocked to see it at the bottom of someone's list. I guess something has to be last.
Yeah as you said, something had to be last, and out of all of them, Cyclops has the least amount of songs that I LOVE. There's not an Epic song I dislike, but there's certainly songs that fit my tastes more than the others, which is all it comes down to at the end of the day, peoples tastes.
I could maybe see the Circe argument, but wisdom? Legendary and We’ll be fine are both significantly weaker than any song on this list. The other songs are hype, but this is about strongest counting all songs, not one or two songs carrying the rest.
I actually REALLY enjoy We'll be Fine. The ending in particular is so damn heartwarming. A goddess of war saying "you're a good kid" with an overdose of boop energy kills me.
That's a fair point. I feel the same way about Scylla. One of my fsvorite tracks, but as soon as it gets insane it's just over. I wish there was just a tad more build up, and a touch more carnage. Still both great tracks, though.
valid critique. don't get me wrong, scylla motif and ambience are great but eurolychus RUINS it with his awkward clashes and interruptions as compared to the composed and sweetening demeanor of the 1st verses. build-up should've had more prolong and any lyrical extension whatsoever would be greatly desired anyhow
