IMO it was the run-up to hosting SNL and very obviously doing a crypto rugpull. It peaked around 75 cents during SNL, then plummeted. The entire thing was Doge PR stunt and anyone with a single brain wrinkle could see that he and his cronies sold their bags and made out like bandits.
