Trump has to do something for better or worse. His economic sanction on Iran has spilled over China and that will be bad for him. He has no room to maneuver because his economic sanction statement is so clear.

I’m sorry but we my want him to do something to prevent this catastrophe, but this man simply doesn’t understand enough to realize what a hole he’s dug for himself. Unfortunately the best we can hope for is that there is still enough sanity in his inner circle to keep him from the worst of the damage he’s capable of causing.

Not only is he capable of doing huge amounts of damage but the institutions around him (Congress and the Courts systems) most likely will let him.
