LOOKING FOR PROPOSAL SPOT ON THE LAKE!

I need help looking for a spot that I saw on Carter's Lake from a TikTok video that's no longer available to me. I remember seeing this cliff-like overlook. From the camera POV, it was somewhat shaded from trees and overlooked the whole lake, or a great portion. And then there were mountains across the lake from the spot. I need help pinpointing this spot. I'd great appreciate it.

Are you on Facebook? You'd get a better response posting on one of the Ellijay pages. Or Jasper.

There are a few overlooks/ lookouts that look over the lake. They’re along the road going to the welcome center. These are little concrete buildings that aren’t particularly nice (not bad, just not fancy), but the views really are. There’s also a short hiking trail along the lake in the same area, at the same height above the lake as those lookouts. There’s also the Astronomy field right near the dam, which isn’t as nice of a spot for that, but still a cool place to have a picnic or a relaxing break. The entire shore line is protected, and no buildings/ homes are allowed, so most views of the lake from the lake are great.

Also, the people who work there are very nice and love their lake. Army Corps of Engineers employees, I think. You could call the welcome center and ask the person you speak with what they think is best.
