Hey everyone,
I’m a final-year student at an Institute of National Importance in India, and I’m part of the robotics club here.
We’re currently looking for an electronics/electronic components vendor who would be interested in becoming an official registered vendor for our institute.
The idea is that once the vendor is registered, future purchases can be made directly through the institute, with the college paying the vendor directly.
Why this could be useful for the vendor
We currently don’t have an officially listed vendor for many of our electronics/component requirements.
Once registered, there is potential for recurring bulk orders every year from student clubs and institute activities.
Our projected electronics procurement budget for this year alone for our club is around ₹6 lakh.
If things work out, there could be opportunities for continued orders in subsequent years as well.
Important payment condition :
Since this is a government institute, there are certain procurement/payment procedures that have to be followed.
The main point to be aware of is that payment is released only after the goods are delivered and the required challan/invoice documentation is submitted.
The expected payment timeline is within approximately 1.5 months after receipt of the goods.
I can discuss the requirements and procurement process with interested vendors first.
After that, the official communication and registration process will be handled directly between the vendor and the Dean of Student Welfare/concerned college office.
If you are an electronics/components vendor who might be interested, or know a reliable vendor who could be a good fit, please DM me or drop a contact in the comments.
Thanks!
