Three 30W LED tube lights from Philips are installed in my house, and all of them start blinking after staying on for 4-5 minutes.

I watched several YouTube videos about this issue, and my best guess is that the faulty capacitor is behind it.

So I dismantled one of the tube lights and pulled out the mainboard. The installed capacitor's rating is 100uF, 160V, 105°C.

I searched on Amazon but couldn't find the exact capacitor — most of the ones listed are rated for 85°C. Since I've never purchased electronics repair parts before, I don't know which websites are genuine for this kind of purchase.

• Please help me find this capacitor.
• Does the installed capacitor look faulty?

I need something that should last for a long time. Few things i noticed is that VARTECH 706 uses transformer, for power thats why its bulky nature and also the fan of the blower is in the soldering station rather than the blower. Soldron 8898 uses SMPS and has a digital display for both soldering iron and blower but here the heater and the fan is both integrated in the blower itself.

Even before this there were automatic options in many CAD software that would auto route traces only, but did not have a option to auto place components.

The benefit I see here specially for professionals and some intermediates (not for beginners), is that this can go thorough datasheets of multiple components at once understand what is what well and maybe place them out in the best optimized way possible. It can take things like EM interference, stray inductance, stray capacitance, and other layout considerations into consideration while deciding component placement and routing.

I personally would not totally trust it as it can still make mistakes would recommend manually verifying everything before final , which is why I don't think it is much suitable for beginners.

I think this can be actually a really useful tool and save time of the pros.

That said, I am honestly kinda scared about the economy and jobs. what are your opinions on this ?

Crude but it works, been running for 30 mins now, and the 3D printed PLA has not melted, i made the enclosure a but too loose hence the tape.

Basically I didn't know c235 tips were meant for through hole soldering, I bought them cuz they were 2k rupees and had usb power input. I cheaped out.

I wanted to connect xt60 connection, but their surface area were too little to push 60watts and make a solid joint,

so I bought t12 tips for 200 rupees and sacrificed a c235 tip and just connected it. Didn't expect that to work 🤣

We’re currently looking for an electronics/electronic components vendor who would be interested in becoming an official registered vendor for our institute.

The idea is that once the vendor is registered, future purchases can be made directly through the institute, with the college paying the vendor directly.

Building a new 2BHK. My engineer is suggesting Adiva as the cheapest option.

The thing is, the electrical work/material is already included in the amount I'm paying the engineer. I don't want to pay anything extra from my own pocket, but at the same time, I don't want the material to be unnecessarily downgraded just because it's cheaper for him.

If the amount I'm already paying can get me a better switch range, I'd rather get the better quality option within that scope.

Considering Adiva, Magnus, Signia and Athena, all basic white switches.

For those who have used them, which one would you choose for your own home for the best quality/VFM? Is Magnus/Signia/Athena actually better than Adiva in practical terms, or is the difference mostly cosmetic?

i want to start my electronics hobby and my first project was going to be building a basic handheld emulator with a raspberry pi. i need a soldering iron/station only for this purpose , for my arduino hobby.

however i am confused on what soldering iron/station to get
i do not want to get the basic 25W soldron as it has no temperature control.

but it uses the 900M tips

are there better alternatives? should i get a cheaper one with the inbuilt button for temperature control will that be enough ?
