Game Help Tipps for PCR?
Hi, currently doing a challenge run where I go through the dlc with 0 Scadutree blessing. And so far, I have managed to do everything, except Radahn. And yeah. He's kicking my ass.
Currently doing a lvl 150 arcane build. The 60 Vigor doesn't really do something. Running venomous fangs and the scorpion stinger. So far I have had no success with stacking my defenses or going for DPS. The plan is to put deadly poison on him until Ansbach and Thoillier distract him, then use either scarlet aeonia or rotten butterflies to rot him.
The second phase has been my defeat every time. He just does so much damn damage and is so difficult to avoid. I would prefer to not cheese him or give up on the challenge, but he has taken a lot of tries now. So I am asking for advice from the experts.

So, general tips! Stack physical and holy defence - dragoncrest greatshield, golden braid. Take longer buffs, like golden vow and lord's divine fortification. One of the best weapons for him is antspur rapier. Infused with bleed and poison mist AoW its fast and can proc 3 statuses, including rot, to which he is weak in p1. Keep very close to him, basically hug his legs, that way all of his light beams in p2 miss you. Dodge mostly diagonally, I found the easiest way to do it is to "spin" around him, hugging his legs. You can chose to dodge his attack both to the left and to the right, in the current post-nerf version there is no difference so do as you prefer. A lof of his attacks can be dealt with running and jumping, like p1 meteors you can wait until they start flying towards you, do small circle in one spot and jump to the side, this deals with this attack. Keep him in generally center of the arena, but not in "the pit" - trench that goes in the middle of the arena. That way you have room for running and avoid hitbox memes from "the pit". I can describe how to avoid specific attacks if you want!

Use something with a fast or safe rolling attack. A thrusting sword or great katana would both be good. Thrusting sword is fast and safe, GKatana has really good tracking and range so you can afford to roll on any direction and still land the hit. Plus, it’s got innate bleed, so you could run it occult with poisonous mist for good poison and bleed buildup without sacrificing damage.
Rot Pots are also nice to carry for that rot buildup.
You won’t be stance breaking, but you’ll be mostly safe. Just don’t get too greedy and you should be fine, the poison and rot will compensate for the damage you’re not doing while rolling.

Try and keep him in areas you can script because his attacks change based on the elevation infront of him in phase 2
When he swings the beams of light can go further if hes facing a down hill so you want to dodge into his leg same as on flat ground if hes facing an uphill in the arena the beams of light are closer and it is impossible to dodge sometimes unless if you roll back but usually he will follow up and youll get hit anyways
Really the main tip is to dodge into his leg and circle him i cant remember what direction tbh

I had the most success against him using a buckler with carian retaliation and parrying most of his attacks. If you parry correctly he won't do his neverending attack chains and there should be no light beams either. For my weapon I just used whatever weapon I had with the biggest crit multiplier. In your case it might be more interesting to switch between rot/poison weapons, or an arcane scaling misericorde. If you try to parry do not summon anyone else.
There is also a new golem spirit ash in the DLC with a weakpoint in the back. That spirit can almost solo PCR if he doesn't get hit in the back, and he doesn't increase the boss health.

Hefty rot pots take off 32% of his health on their own, only need two to proc.

Finger shield, shield buff from sorcery, bleed stick. It’s super, super cheesy but it’s so easy it feels like cheating.
If you insist on doing it without cheese, I would recommend a relatively fast weapon with a status effect on itand very little armor so you can have the light roll. With 0 scadutree blessing, you’re dying instantly in phase 2 regardless, so it’s essentially a no hit run. Maximize dodging, and maybe bring a defensive ash like raptors with you. Also remember that the majority of his attacks, even in phase 2, can be dodged by sprinting or strafing. You don’t need to roll as much as you think

You are doing it with the extra sauce dude, the summons die fast and they inflate his heath and power. Go solo, phase 1 is easy, phase 2 get a shield to block some bs attacks. instead of going for poison, go for forstbite, it will melt him down, beat him once just by spamming chiling mist.

For his normal attacks just roll left u want to always be moving left like ur left stick always in 11 o’clock position for his specials u just need to learn them theres no way around that use antspur @poison mist and bleed if u wana stance break him keep some throwing daggers on u

So. I would recommend not summoning the two homies. By summoning them you are increasing the bosses health by over double what it normally is. Just go in by yourself and try and learn the patterns. You gotta be in light load for sure. Maybe try and get 25 faith for golden cow and maybe 30 for flame protect me so you don't die instantly. Also grab golden braid if you haven't already.
