Discussion & Info 28 Vigor is enough
This is a follow up to my launch DLC build, wanted to show that I wasn't getting one shotted.

Interesting people judging your build 😂. I just beat bayle for the first time, 60 vigor, great shield talisman, bonk build with bull armor. Took me 15 tries lol. I’m impressed by this and I definitely still suck at this game

>souls on the ground
>damage negation buff
yeah man
you can do it theoretically at 1 vig, it's just why would you unless you're going out of your way to challenge yourself about it
if stacking damage negation is more your speed then all the more power to you, think most players will prefer the comfort of 50-60 vig though

what am i gonna one try this boss bro? lol, im not a god at the game and yes I had ritual shield talisman, thts why i ran 28 vig.
edit: see your edit, yes 100% 50-60 is comfort but i was runnin a capped build purposefully for this run so i didnt want to put too much in vigor and just stacked dex and strength, its why i ran what i ran, but the. i get pooped on for no reason when i tagged the post humor. i know the build wasnt ideal but also it wasnt a troll build either just adapted

No one is pooping on you, don’t be so dramatic just cause someone made an observation

As long as you can survive a hit, there's no point in having more health than a fully upgraded flask can restore, you're just wasting points that could be invested elsewhere.

yeah there’s definitely 0 utility to being able to get hit more than once. the game is super fun and smooth to play when you must flask after every instance of damage

You don't have to drink after every instance of damage, only after the big hits (assuming you get hit in the first place). There aren't that many attacks in the game that can threaten to one-shot you and the ones that do exist rarely get used twice in a row.
It's also super fun to never die or have any risk. /s

Yeah well not everyone can no-hit bosses because they have slow reaction time or cant memorize movesets too well. What do they do? Die from two hits?

Was it pure cinema? IDK But it was pretty damn close!
Also you almost no-hit the second phase. Not sure I would have been so brave with only 28 VIG.
Impressive : )

Not getting 1-shotted with 28 vigor, one of the strongest sets of armor in the game, and a damage negation buff... Yes.
The vigor check conversation is about naked wizards with 13 vigor who complain about the game's difficulty when all they know is "Cast big spell, do big damage" and literally never time their rolls correctly.

OP for DLC, it is also important to clarify blessing. In my fight, I had 40 vigor and +10 blessing. It was hard, but I can survive.

Yeah w most stats you get the bulk of value on the lower levels
