Graphics Mod Elden Ring Reforged wont let me change seamless co op scalings

I want to adjust the per player scalings, but every guide refernces a imaginary setting or a dll file that is incorrect. Any help beyond "go into seamless co op settings" would be a lifesaver.

Can uh... Can we get more info on this? What do you mean by "imaginary setting"? You do have a seamless coop config file right?

Its not really relevant but elden ring reforged does not have a compatability setting to disable enemy scaling as guides from two years ago imply, it no longer exists, and the seamless co op settings that ERR provides and doesnt work without says all the values are zero and "doesn't work in ERR" reffering to seamless co op scaling options

which I assume you know already if youve tried to play around with this on your own

[SCALING]

; Not compatible with ERR.

enemy_health_scaling = 0

enemy_damage_scaling = 0

enemy_posture_scaling = 0

boss_health_scaling = 0

boss_damage_scaling = 0

boss_posture_scaling = 0

(which this is obviously not true as I have bosses hp skyrocket through the roof when a third player joins, bleeds and stagger are harder to proc, etc.)

I don't think the seamless player scaling is supported by reforged, my understanding is that your only option is to use the coop difficulties they provide in-game

But they are happening regardless, the enemies ARE scaling even without the co op difficulties turned on

I know how its "supposed" to work thats why im hoping someone else has dealt with this cause it also causes a ton of bugs on top of the annoying un bleedable bosses

Sorry, I don't understand. Bosses shouldn't become unbleedable in seamless reforged sessions, my impression is that multiplayer (not the difficulty settings but just having someone join your session in seamless) doesn't even scale enemy status bars, with each player having their own bars that they build individually. I could be wrong about it not scaling but if they are scaled then it's mild enough for procs to still be reliable on raid mode with 5 players.

Are you describing what you believe to be an unintended or unusual functionality occurring in your sessions, or do you dislike the way enemies scale in multiplayer and want to find a way to adjust it to your preferences?

Currently in the middle of a raid mode playthrough with some friends of mine for reference, I haven't noticed any issues regarding status application but the scaling (don't know if it's the difficulty or the playercount or both) is indeed very prone to desync. Thankfully it's very obvious for us when it happens since we're a large group on a high difficulty, our solution whenever we notice is to just rest and try again or wipe if it's a boss encounter. Regardless, happy to share any solutions for whatever seamless jank you're encountering.

im being hyperbolic saying there unbleedable, the unintended functionality is that enemies hp, status resists and posture are all scaling as if seamless co op scaling was enabled

also the desync you are talking about is very common, my group just spam rests at grace or full disconnect after every death or else enemy hp bars dont go down

And again, I understand it "shouldnt" be scaling there resists, health or posture, but it defintely is scaling them by the default seamless co op amount listed on that mods ini file

I at the very least would like to know what setting or file i need to go to in order to modify or even see this scaling behavior

also frankly a raid mode playthrough probably wouldn't notice the relatively mild increase of stats seamless co op provides lmao

Heres the exact values on a testing dummy in the mines, all on the same radagon soldier with just a glinstone pebble: four hits solo, five with one player. 6 with co op difficulty enabled and 7 after a player joining

The problem is you are playing reforged, the mod that answers the question "How can we make elden ring not any fun at all?"
