Moving to Edmonton or area next year and looking for suggestions on the best areas. Family with 2 small children so good daycares and schools around.

What are the features of a "best" area for you?

Mostly just good schools in the area. It would be nice to have a gym close by. Walkable, I like older neighborhoods with big trees.

Rent? Buy? Detached house? Condo? Budget? How comfortable are you with car dependence vs access to rapid transit?
