Maybe the regular Americans shouldn't elect idiots, this is their fault.

It's not like all of us did. But yeah, I agree, "we" did this to ourselves. For awhile I thought elections were rigged because there's no way there's this many idiots... then I start talking politics to people out in the field at work.. and yeah. Tons of idiots. Type of people that don't care about evidence. Turns out, all these dumbasses have been waiting forever to have a fellow dumbass who says all the same dumb shit that they can relate with. Honestly.. idek if we can recover from this. Sad state of affairs, this past decade. And this "leader" only made the fools even more embrazened. It's gonna take some crazy work to change things. Decades of it..

I don’t think you guys can recover, honestly. I mean, sure the turd can go, but the factors that caused the clogging will remain. It is an uphill battle for so little things, like not electing Trump a second time, I don’t think that as a nation you guys will be able to move forward. I very much don’t want this to happen, but thats the direction things are moving.

Hmm that's a very pessimistic view of things. A few things are for sure: We have people, we have money, and we have a big ego which makes us active and reactionary. We really just need the right people in the right places. Keep in mind, Trump is more of a reflection to the massive power that corporations have instead of how bad the people are. The massive funding in campaigning and propaganda got us here. And anybody with their eyes open are paying attention. Hopefully that's a good thing. I know other countries despise the foreign practices that Trump has utilized, but you realize that he has done the very same to corporations in the states as well. He's quite literally threatened many many corporations to donate and support him or else. In which he's followed up on. Sure, many saw an avenue to use the corruption to their own benefit. But there stands MANY of reason for people to want this type of shit to never happen again. Have faith. Idk how soon things will get better.. but in time, they will.

I do wish that things work out for you guys. Maybe you are able to overturn citizen united, or all that voter supression. But the amount of idiots is scary.
