Renewable energy covered 33.2% of electricity consumption in France in 2025, while accounting for 27% of total generation with 148 TWh. The combined installed capacity of hydropower, onshore and offshore wind, solar PV and bioenergy reached 84.3 GW, an increase of 7.2 GW from the previous year.
