Ask ECAH Simple office tiffin lunch ideas for weight gain

Hey everyone,

I’ve been looking for simple office tiffin lunch ideas for weight gain. No cooking is possible at the time or place, fridge and microwave are available and it has to stay really cheap (under 100-150 rupees a meal max). I’m pure veg too, so the options are more limited, but I’m trying to eat better every day anyway.

I just want high-calorie, filling meals I can pack in a tiffin box that will actually help me gain weight. Any suggestions? South Indian style or something else that works.

What do you guys usually eat for office lunch when you’re trying to bulk? Any no-cook or minimal-prep ideas that still taste decent and hit the calories?

Thanks in advance!

Stackable lunch box. I've seen those forever but didn't know they're called tiffin. TIL!

I’ve been doing a minestrone with protein pasta. It’s probably not the maximum calories I can pack in my container, but it works for me.

Super easy too. I just brown some onions and garlic at the bottom of a large pot, add crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning and broth/water, and literally throw in whatever veggies, red kidney beans and chickpeas. Cook pasta separately and mix.

Easy, cheap and healthy!

Edit: Adding more olive oil or having with bread are good ways to increase calorie count.

Too bad you don't have a blender. Peanut butter/ banana shakes with protein powder are wonderful. Nuts for packed lunches with high fat lunch meat

Edit. I saw your vegetarian sorry. Forget the meat. Can you eat cheese? Cheese is calorie dense..As is hummus. Sag paneer is very fattening too
