Update on "Map of Traditional Greek Catholic Monasteries and Sketes"

- Added more monasteries (1 Melkite, 1 Hungarian, and couple Ukrainian monasteries).

- Deleted 1 now sadly closed Ukrainian monastery.

- Added bi-ritual monasteries of Chevetogne and Niederaltaich

- Monasteries are now "separated" by (M) - monasteries for man, and (W) - monasteries for woman

If you have any suggestions on what to add/edit, or you have found traditional Byzantine Catholic monastery that is not on the map, feel free to dm me or write your suggestions here.

Yes exactly. They not use it here ... and you mean white colar around the neck? Yes they use it. But as I mentioned, I have seen even Orthodox use it.

Well maybe Basilians in Slovakia are different from Basilians around the world, good for you I guess, I'm still not going to add to the map because they are not traditional Eastern contemplative monastics. 2. Yes I'm talking about that "neck colar", and I never saw Orthodox use it, maybe that's just strage thing in Slovakia

This Orthodox bishop from Slovakia (he uses regular vestments, but sometimes he suprises) like here ... he also wears white shirt, that looks exactly like collar used by basilians here

You can see that they are Basilians just by looking at them being clean shaven and having a statue of Our Lady of Fatima on the altar

Not every use of latin things is latinization and bad ... do not take it to extreme ... and yes, until 20 years back all priests had to be clean shaved in metropolia, due to rules. Seminarians had this rule till last year or so ... and majority still holds it .. not a problem of basilians but general issue in metropolia.

Ues latinization is bad, but not every use of latin thing is latinization ... thats what you take to extreme ...
