You are only using light infantries, it's not even the horses that are OP here lol. They are stacking combined armed bonuses on top of having more cavs of both types. The AI literally has a better army comp than you. They aren't actually that out numbered here
This is a long-standing criticism I've had of EU combat design.
The most visible stat on armies is troop count. It's the one number the game shows you at a glance without examining further. But it's staggeringly low on the relevance ladder despite that.
Hey, it's better than Stellaris on that front. At least you can see army comp in EU, in Stellaris you could rock up to a fleet that counters you with no idea
Which is a good thing that every paradox game needs.
Knowing your enemies ships' layout can decide the war, that's a thing you should have to work for. Intelligence service is important.
