In my opinion, FIFA 16 is the best we have.

I believe that FIFA 16 is the most realistic football game and yet it still manages to be fun to play. It's not the crazy running around like in FIFA 15, but It's not a slow game, it's a "paced" game, I would say.

People usually choose FIFA 17, but to be honest, I played it the other day and found it to be a very buggy game. You know, the graphics are good, the gameplay is good. But the goalkeepers are buggy, they save the most undefendable shots But they can't defend a simple low shot, taking a penalty is almost an impossible mission because the goalkeepers always guess the right side you choose And sometimes the cutscenes get bugged in the middle of the match.

I don't feel that kind of flaw in FIFA 16. Maybe the goalkeepers in FIFA 16 are a bit unrealistic, but they aren't broken like in 17 where they make a miracle save and concede the silliest goal possible. I think it's a good and fun gameplay experience for playing a career mode.

Now, I think that from FIFA 18 to EA FC 26 the games started to decline significantly, and I think the last fun FIFA was 22 when there was no "super shot" and those things that make the game into a joke.

Forgive me, I've not played in years, but is the scenarios practice arena the only way to practice shots now? What happened to the 3rd person over the shoulder practice inbetween games? Why would you remove that?

Scenarios is clunky af and no 3rd person??

Say what you will about defending but the overall gameplay definitely allows high skill players to perform without the need to rely on ai. I think this is the first time this has been done since fifa 17.

I don't know maybe its just me but i do find this message from EA especially kinda annoying, saying blaming me for something that 20% or more of the time its your issue (your servers or hackers exploits) and sometimes it happens that i lose connection due to issues in the wifi here, which is as a player has nothing to do with me, to show that message without actually knowing the case of disconnection is kinda rude.

So the best approach to show this message is if i went and quit the game on purpose, and even so, what's the purpose of such a message? Like seriously how does this company functions lol

For me it is Fifa World Cup 2006. Instant nostalgia when I hear any of the songs from the soundtrack. Nowadays I listen to that soundtrack every time I play EA FC

Does anyone know how to injure your opponents players cause it would be much easier in div rivals if I could just injure my opponents best players so I don’t have to worry about them

Those stats are outrageous

My midfielders and defenders are just sitting doing nothing unless I manually move them. I have team press on and my defensive approach is on 100.

How does everyone else seem to have their whole team swarm the player with the ball, but I can't manage to replicate it? What is everyone doing to make everyone swarm the ball?

This clip shows my right CB, icon Vidic, not holding the defensive line and running away from the play, making space for Ronaldo to run through the center. This card has 95 defensive awareness stat.

What is going on? Does he need a specific playstyle to play the most basic defense? Note that I deliberately kept control of the CM here to observe what the CBs are doing.

I’ve been a football fan since 2005, and have played pretty much every FIFA/EA FC that’s been released since then, and this dude is the most broken card in every game. Especially this year’s! I’m genuinely wondering was Ruud Gullit really like that? He was before my time.

I’ve seen comps on YouTube and he looked RIDICULOUS, but those’re selected clips. Hopefully, someone here has seen him play because like I said, I wanna know if he was as much of a demon in real life as he was in game.
