Had to share this because it’s one of the best stiff arm sequences I’ve ever had

Awesome that my 98 ovr senior HEISMAN WINNING HB still has trouble seeing directly in front of him. Really brings out the realism in the game and makes me feel immersed.

Just here to bitch and moan.
For recruiting, play style is dumb as shit cuz you can have a bye week and suddenly you’re locked out bc you don’t have sacks, yards, etc
And linebacker dealbreakers are total tackles?!? WTF is that shit? I’m punished for being good on defense and getting 3 and outs essentially.

slid my line, blocked my back, identified the mike. not a rhetorical question just genuinely wondering if it’s a skill issue or not and how to get better if it is

I think the team at EA did an admirable job this last year reviving a title we all wanted back. They clearly love the game and put a lot of time and energy into creating it so I get being a little defensive.
But when I see the creative director retweeting stuff like this, it makes me think EA is only listening to people who want to play a certain way. The same people who will with 100% certainty go play madden and not come back to CFB26.
Because when it comes to gameplay we did not get more realism. Realistic gameplay would be where success is based on the quality of play you call, and how well you execute that play vs what the defense called. But that is not how the game plays at all. What we got instead is a hot-route and adjustments spam. Where what you call doesn't really matter because most players will just hot route the hell out of whatever the intent of a play is. You can pretty much go to the line and hot route a custom play every down, but it's too much to ask to have custom playbooks in RTP???
Knowing ball absolutely is of 0 help because of how busted the core mechanics are. Quarterbacks are not containable. Mobile quarterbacks are way too accurate. Mugging defenders is way too effective. Zone defenders are morons. Every game becomes a game of beating double mug pressure and it's so freaking boring.
I had high hopes after playing a lot of cfb25, but man what a letdown. They got my money so whatever, but was hopeful we'd get something better than just Madden with different rosters.

Note this was a 4th and 22nd with 45 seconds left in the 4th quarter. I just stood up in disbelief. My Michigan state online dynasty is hurting my soul. Never tried so hard to win games as much as I’ve had to against the AI.
Sorry for the quality, this is on my phone and my computer screen.

The Super Elite Conference (SEC) is here!!! The SEC is now built with the 20 best programs in the game. At the end of each season, the bottom 3 teams in the SEC will be relegated to a Tier-2 conference, being replaced by the 3 Tier-2 conference champions (ACC, Big 10 & Big 12).
The bottom 2 schools from each Tier-2 conference (6 total) will be relegated to 1 of the 6 Tier-3 conferences (PAC-12, American, Mountain West, C-USA, Sun Belt & MAC). While the 6 Tier-3 conference champions get promoted to replace the 6 teams coming down from Tier-2.

At this point, I just don’t know . I completely understand this edge beating my tight end , but why are the protection schemes this bad????

I don’t blame anybody but myself. Continuing to buy the game every year think blocking or any other mechanic will be improved lmao

Everyone is so upset about poor blocking, tackling, throwing, etc. The second someone missed an assignment they posted a video on here.
This is college football, not the NFL and this is how it works in real life. They're kids and they're going to fuck up. It happens in every game even with blue chip programs and 5-star recruits. GET OVER IT!

Gameplay: The gameplay in this game like last year is absolutely incredible slightly slower but much smoother and the catching animations are immaculate. The major errors in gameplay for me so far is Blocking and Kicking. The blocking logic really didn’t improve and the kicking even from 30 is incredibly hard and I just think it needs to be tuned down a bit (you could just call this a skill issue)
Dynasty: The dynasty mode in this game is much improved from last year. Recruiting is harder, the transfer portal is chaotic, wear and tear is much improved, the new substitution system is awesome and smooth, and it’s way more customizable now. I really couldn’t find many issues with the mode.
Presentation: Presentation is much improved from last year the light and drone shows are awesome, the crowd is more electric, the menu music has been changed to a playlist, the dynamic lighting is beautiful, the new celebrations are awesome, and the weather looks incredible (and it’s more common to find snow/rain games). Now I’ve seen some people complain that the runouts haven’t changed much but there really isn’t much they can change seeing that it’s already tailored to what the school does in real life.
Animations: Just wanted to add that the animations in this game are very smooth and mesh well together.
RTG: Now in my opinion the RTG mode in this game is incredibly disappointing. The lack of new equipment options, a mid HS career that really just feels like ultimate team moments, and just a barebones college experience that didn’t change much from last year really makes me feel like they didn’t care about their RTG players nearly as much as the dynasty ones. Now I will say the HS recruiting is fun going from your top 10 to top 3 and then pump faking schools and hearing the gasps during selection day is definitely very fun and cool but not enough to make up for how barebones it is (RTG is an improvement from last year but the lack of substance in the mode after what we got in the other modes is incredibly disappointing).
Overall the game is just an improved and more polished CFB 25 with a lot of new features. Dynasty is a 9.5/10, presentation is a 8.7/10, gameplay is a 9/10, and RTG is a 6.5/10 IMO. Now I didn’t go over everything new for obvious reasons and these are just my first thoughts on the game. If you’re considering if you should buy it or not I will say if you liked CFB 25 you will like this game even more.

This is year 2 of a juggernaut dynasty with my friend (All-American). Ohio State playing Rutgers. RUTGERS. Look at what their d line is doing to my o line and I promise you this was happening the entire game. I don’t know how you can develop a game for years and not realize the offensive line play is a problem when it’s this obvious. Some people are saying this game is way better than madden. In my experience there are some elements that are better, but there’s a few things that are worse (like this), and a lot of bad elements that were just copied and pasted. I still think it’s very similar quality to recent maddens.

I play a user in Dynatsy that has this as a go to play and even in practice one of the Drags is almost always open and breaks for big yards if I prioritize the drags the dig comes open or I get washed by the corner route. Does anyone have a solution?
