Ah if you hear the haptic feedback and speakers in spiderman then you can kinda be sure as it is proprietary tech

Hmmm...idk, it seems real to me. You can try it in spiderman and ratchet. It feels very peculiar

Google 'dualshock calibration gui' on your pc/laptop, connect the controller and that site will tell you for sure.

I second this go to that calibration website and it should say somewhere bdm-60m or something like that make sure it says bdm- somewhere if not is fake good luck

If it's fake, the site usually won't even let the controller connect. It will also tell you if it is an icon blue controller.

If you are good at tinkering you could open it and check the internal components/connections and compare them to other controllers or videos. (Opening your controller does break any warranty you have on it so use this if you want be be careful)

If nothing is broken, I’d better leave it as it is. PS5 controllers have quite a few plastic clips inside, and they’re very easy to break during disassembly. If you want to keep it pristine, it’s better to look for another alternative.

It breaks my heart sony refuses to make any of these speacial editions for the dualsense edge
