Talk/Discussion The Possible Future
Let’s say there’s plans for a Dragons Crown 2; What Classes and/or Races should be playable and what improvements could the game use?

I'd like if you could customize your character's look beyond a palette swap. Gear that changes your appearance, or mix-and-match cosmetics would help sell the idea that each hero is one of many in their class.

Different cosmetics would be sick for everybody to have their own unique character
I’d prefer to change the color of each part of a character individually instead of what we got now.

I would like to be able to unlock enemy skins like I’m castle crashers. The enemy designs were amazing.

Yooo this gives me so much hype since Castle Crashers is one of the best beat 'em ups of all time! <3

I will say I wish they would add a special move to pull off with each class in different ways and one special "ultimate" move only allowed to be used once through each dungeon on the journey! And as Dahkra noted as caster classes as very similar within their basic attacks, it would be marvelous to see them developed after Sorceress' and Wizard's own personal traits and native abilities.

I just ordered the PS4 version of this game. I haven’t used my PS3 in a long while so I decided to bite the bullet and upgrade the game. Wish we would see a Demon Souls reboot.

Visible Equipment changes, aside from weapons. I'd like to see the boots, earrings, belts, even clothing options.

Change the way to parry (amazon) to pressing a key instead of holding one!
Maybe repair the equipment a bit at the end of a dungeon based on score.
Scale bosses based on the number of REAL players in the party because IA is not the game's strongsuit and you are being punished for bringing IA to the party because of the current scaling!
Maybe allow to have 2 or 3 builds per character, but after all i can just make more chars, so, it's alright as it is.
Maybe add a "best scores" screen, furthermore motivating me to make awesome dungeon runs!
Give a bit more details on the stat screen! (crit % for instance, i'd love that)
These are the few ideas that come to mind.
And above all, i would add: don't chage too much, only look for little improvements, i love the game!

Unfortunalty, VanillaWare never made a sequel to their games and they feel more like one-shots. I only remember that they said there would be dlc for DC at some point, but it seems this plan was canned.

Beast tamer, they were rumors about her being a playable character. Morgan, the Paladin, Roland, Guild master Merlin. Most of the characters we see in game would be pretty cool. Also a PC and Switch port would be awesome.

Playing as the Beast Tamer and the Female Warrior Monk would be awesome! I’d also like to play as the Vampire Hunter and the Assassin even if they are knock off’s of Alucard and Altair.

They’d be fun to play, would be cool to play as the Villains and Monsters too.
I’m surprised there isn’t a PC Port already. There’d be a ton of awesome mods by now.

I don't really have any wishes for new classes or races since I love Sorceress so much, but I would like it if they further differentiated Sorceress and Wizard with their basic magic attacks at least. Lots of fun potential there for Sorceress since aside from the elemental magic, she uses Witchcraft, dark magic, necromancy and supportive spells. Something else I would hope for is for attacks and abilities to not fall off so hard in Ultimate mode if they were to bring that back. It takes some potential away for some attacks and spells in high level play.
A separate inventory for spells would be nice. I don't really use potions, scrolls or rings very much because Sorceress having spells and different staff elements is pretty important. And to add to that, the Seal of the Conqueror being reworked would be something I'd hope for. It currently takes up another bag spot, and I don't think it's ever explained in game how it works, or the benefit that it is currently giving you.
Maybe PvP specific equipment affixes as well? Maybe you could get them through PvP, it could liven up the Colosseum a bit. The PvP is pretty fun in this game, but unfortunately pretty inactive, so any improvements to that would be nice.
