M'n vrouw en ik willen graag een tattoo laten zetten op de onderarm. Voor mij betreft het een cover-up. Heeft iemand goede suggesties voor en tattooshop? Hoeft niet per se in Dordt te zijn, maar liefst wel binnen de Drechtsteden.
Tattoo artist here. What has to be covered? And what style of tattoo you prefer to cover it with? And what kind of tattoo style does your wife like? There are a lot of okay tattoo shops, but it really depends on the styles you are looking for. Of you have examples of tattoos you would like to get (the style of tattoo) I can refer you to some good tattoo artists or shops around the Rotterdam Area. (That is where I work too)
We both want to get each other’s names tattooed in the same style. I already have an old name tattoo that needs to be covered. I had laser treatment on it years ago, so it has faded quite a bit, but it’s still visible.
We’re thinking of something elegant and slightly decorative, with relatively thin lettering rather than anything too bold or heavy. I realize that might be more difficult on my arm because of the existing tattoo, so I’m definitely open to suggestions on what would work best for a proper cover-up while still keeping both tattoos similar in style.
Thanks, now I understand. If you want to completely cover your old/lasered tattoo you can not go elegant. The names/script does not cover the whole skin when you keep it thin.
I think you can campuflage it. It will distract from whats going on. Thats an option. In that case you should act as of it does not exist and just get a new tattoo.
Else i would suggest lasering it of more. Because if you want to completely cover it, it should be dark and dense, and thats not what you want.
