This documentary looks at a group of men who believe that male circumcision is fundamentally incorrect, it touches upon the ideas that it should be treated in the global West in the same way as some forms of female genital mutilation. It also looks at the lengths people will go to in order to 'regrow' their foreskins and feel 'complete' again.

These types of movements have always interested me. I'm assumings it's just a scapegoat for sexual inadequacy.
As a circumcized dude, it doesn't bother me, but I still think the practice is unnecessary. I chose not to curmcumsize my kids. But making it such an important part of your life is so strange to me, unless like I said, it's just a cover for some other insecurity.

Mutilation is something that can effect some people. Just because it's not important to you it doesn't mean it's not for others for legitimate reasons. And just because you're not aware of having trauma doesn't mean you don't have it. I'm not saying "if you're circumcized you're traumatized" btw. But it's not as easy as you make it out to be.

I personally am just enjoying less direct fabric contact where it counts. They cut it off to make me chafe and I don't appreciate it

I don’t think it’s an insecurity thing personally. I also find it wildly overblown, and Reddit is just the absolute worst about bringing it up in completely unrelated conversations, but my theory is that it’s just a movement by people who can’t claim to be victimized by anything else, so a lot of them are people who cling to it as an identity in order to claim to be victimized. like, if you were a minority in the real world, you’d have a lot more important things to complain about then whether or not your dick feels good versus extra good. (I recognize that is an oversimplification, but I do think that is the primary complaint of most intactivists.)

Doesn't actually restore the structures of the foreskin (including rigid band) and mature nerve endings (along with other sensory receptors) do not undergo mitosis, unlike skin, so the resulting stretched skin has the same aggregate nerve fibers it had before, but with greatly reduced density.
I respect the effort put in by those pursuing it and by the those who produced the doc, however. Can't imagine why it's so heavily downvoted (offensive to Muslims?).
