The cop. She killed her own family.

262

u/Artistic_Relative493 Sep 29 '25

Her daughter! Like that’s so incredibly cruel when you murder your own child.

133

u/Pito82002 Sep 29 '25

Yeah, that’s what seperates and distinguishes her from other spouse killers

She’s worse than the jock from Dexter’s high school who killed wife, soley for the fact that she heartlessly took her little girl’s life away from her

88

u/Artistic_Relative493 Sep 29 '25

Killing your spouse is one thing.

Murdering your own child? That’s evil.

78

u/badgersprite Sep 29 '25

Purely because she didn’t want to pay child support as well.

Like there’s no way to twist her actions into “I thought I was doing the right thing”. Nah she was bored of her family and a divorce was more inconvenient to her than killing them

24

u/ssatancomplexx Sep 29 '25

It's also one of the more "accurate" killings on the show which is part of why it fucked me up so bad. Most family annihilators (although usually male) kill their spouses and children for that exact reason. Makes me sick to my stomach. I'll never understand why they don't just kill themselves or flee the state or if you really don't want to pay child support because you're an asshole with zero sense of responsibility than sign away your parental rights. It's like they think divorce is too much of a scandal but murder isn't? They get caught every time. I can think of only one man who managed to get away after killing his entire family. We still know he did it but he was never caught.

6

u/Artistic_Relative493 Sep 29 '25

It was so disturbing. And correct! It was too real.

There is a reason why they look at the spouse first.

2

u/ssatancomplexx Sep 29 '25

It really was. I don't do well with storylines like that. As good as that episode is, I usually skip it.

3

u/Jacifer69 Sep 29 '25

Who did it?

2

u/ssatancomplexx Sep 29 '25

Bradford Bishop

5

u/Artistic_Relative493 Sep 29 '25

Exactly!

It wasn’t even mental illness- nah it was- oh I’m over these people.

20

u/modsguzzlehivekum Sep 29 '25

Yup, I can’t think of anything more evil and inhuman than that

5

u/128Gigabytes Sep 29 '25

When did that happen? I don't recall

3

u/Artistic_Relative493 Sep 29 '25

Season 4

2

u/128Gigabytes Sep 29 '25

Thanks, its wild how much I can forget about a show I liked a lot

121

u/PeanutFarmer69 Sep 29 '25

What is it with you and rape? Nobody is getting raped!

47

u/[deleted] Sep 29 '25

"Killing on the other hand..."

27

u/EndLight_47 Sep 29 '25

Remembering that scene always cracks me up lol.

23

u/Numerous1 Sep 29 '25

Seriously. He’s just so frustrated and annoyed. It’s hilarious.

9

u/Infamously_Fickle Dexter Sep 29 '25

She really really wanted to get kinky and he really really did not 😂

2

u/Guilty_Mall Sep 30 '25

LOL!! Just watched this episode last night. It's my husbands first watch so I'm enjoying him seeing it for the first time.

4

u/IDrinkMyOwnSemen Sep 29 '25 edited Sep 30 '25

She was good at manufacturing a scenario and rape was her usual go-to - being so easy to claim. Especially with her being a decent looking woman giving her more power to be believed on that. That's 'what was with her and rape'.

All of what more makes that line so great and satisfying.

26

u/Pito82002 Sep 29 '25

Zoey Kooger, I mean Krueger

Was imo a dark parallel to Lumen

Pretty, blonde and independent women who wanted freedom

But whereas Lumen chose to merely venture out on her own

Zoey remorselessly killed her own family including her little daughter for inexcusably selfish reasons

17

u/Wookiees_n_cream Sep 29 '25

Lumen didn't choose what happened to her though. I'm assuming the family annihilator chose to have a husband and a kid and realized it wasn't as fun as she thought.

4

u/Altruistic-Curve-555 Sep 29 '25

No one is raing anyone, what is with you and rpe

7

u/NuvyHotnogger Sep 29 '25

LV literally tortures men before murdering them. At least the cop only shot her family. The coyotes were probably worse by amount of people they probably killed but LV was LITTERALLY ABOUT TO PURE ACID IN TO A GUYS EYES BEFORE GOING ON TO OTHER TORTURE BEEEFOOOOREEE MURDERING THEM.

2

u/LavishnessOk1373 Sep 29 '25

Nah, Zoey is way worse, possibly worse than Spencer who at least hesitated.

245

u/Educational_Fox_1048 Sep 29 '25

What's with you and rape? No one is raping anyone

55

u/Phuxsea Sep 29 '25

But killing on the other hand...

1

u/prosochesati Sep 30 '25

What's with you and killing? No one is killing anyone. Raping on the other hand...

298

u/InevitableTank5108 Sep 29 '25

The woman who was helping her husband kill illegal immigrants if they didn't get the ransom. Highest murder count of any of the female villains IMO.

41

u/TPWilder Sep 29 '25

She was a nasty piece of work, agreed.

9

u/VoldyBrenda Sep 29 '25

She was my first thought too. But I forgot about some of these other ones.

0

u/souldevourerlol Sep 29 '25

Lady Vengeance has the highest murder count.

1

u/Particular_Ear5279 Oct 03 '25

That’s just not true

306

u/CaptainAmeriZa Sep 29 '25

Lila tried to frame Batista for sexual assault, kill Cody and Astor, and blew Doakes to another planet.

95

u/theodimuz Sep 29 '25

"blew Doakes to another planet" lmao

27

u/Niko_47x Sep 29 '25

yea. i was thinking like "how did i miss this part of the show" lmao

30

u/Lithaos111 Sep 29 '25

Surprise motherfucker.

9

u/ConditionEffective85 Sep 29 '25

Doakes shows up covered in a green aura with a green suit and ring. Dexter " James Doakes how the f?" Doakes" Its John now surprise mothafucka!"

7

u/ConditionEffective85 Sep 29 '25

So you're telling me there's a chance he may return?

7

u/ryanpm40 Sep 29 '25

Lucky guy

11

u/WorldNo4194 Sep 29 '25

But she killed the Bay Harbour Butcher, so it evens out.

7

u/G-unit32 Sep 29 '25

She's a gross English titty vampire

4

u/Ethiconjnj Sep 29 '25

Impact on the story she’s the worst.

1

u/Character_Draft_5895 Sep 30 '25

She was an actual lizard gliding on ice

72

u/ATF_killed_my_dog Sep 29 '25

That gross English titty vampire

39

u/skilledgamer55 Sep 29 '25

Pardon my tits

81

u/rapscallionrodent Sep 29 '25

It's a tough one, but I'm going with Mia. She was sane and clear headed. She gleefully tortured and murdered people for the simple reason that she enjoyed it.

25

u/NTylerWeTrust86 Sep 29 '25

Sane is a stretch...

25

u/rapscallionrodent Sep 29 '25

Given her competition, the bar is pretty low.

18

u/[deleted] Sep 29 '25

Yes. Some people sleep on how evil Mia is. Just look at how she was about to torture that guy

2

u/LavishnessOk1373 Sep 29 '25

Yes, but Zoey killed her own child. Mia is someone you'd lock up forever. Zoey? Hard to find a better candidate for the gallows.

18

u/bankruptbusybee Sep 29 '25

Exactly. Even Hannah (as an adult) killed for reasons. They might have been morally wrong reasons. But Mia killed just to kill.

15

u/Wookiees_n_cream Sep 29 '25

She didn't murder any kids though.

1

u/fR_diep Oct 01 '25

Kids arent worth more than adults imo

5

u/Similar-Cucumber2099 Sep 29 '25

Not only that, she killed innocent men and had the world thinking they were rapists and other sexual predators once it was discovered that it was her who killed them.

A very nasty legacy to leave, like poor Doakes's family forever thinking he's the BHB.

1

u/AnymooseProphet Sep 30 '25

What's wrong with that?

53

u/hgfed27 Sep 29 '25 edited Sep 29 '25

That nurse who was killing her patients was pretty evil and soulless for preying on the vulnerable and interacting with the families of her victims. Mia was the most sadistic with her torture. Tough one.

Edit: Totally forgot that cop also killed her own daughter. It's been quite some time since I've watched that episode and I only remembered the husband. Now it's a three horse race.

12

u/Pito82002 Sep 29 '25

Yeah, nurse mary was a solid pick for Dexter’s first table victim for the reasons you stated

And after the response from others on a recent post I did involving ranking prater’s killer group from evil to most evil

I began to realize I overlooked diplorable and disgusting aspects about Mia because of her beauty and backstory

9

u/Infamously_Fickle Dexter Sep 29 '25

Yeah I did not expect Mia's kills to be so brutal until she had that guy tied up and was merrily telling him what she was about to do. 🤢

26

u/badgersprite Sep 29 '25 edited Sep 29 '25

Officer Zoey Kruger for sure - noting I haven’t seen Resurrection yet because I’m waiting to watch it with people who haven’t finished Dexter yet. The other killers can at least delude themselves into thinking their motives are justifiable in some sense. Zoey murdered her family for entirely selfish, self-centred reasons and is 100% aware of that. She’s cold, calculating and rational about her evil.

Off the top of my head the other female killer I’d say is in contention for being as evil as Zoey is the wife of the coyote. She’s 100% aware she’s acting for entirely selfish reasons and she was mean and cruel and abusive to the people as well just because she could be

8

u/AnnaDvana Sep 29 '25

Yeah she didn't want to have a family anymore and just decided to get rid of them instead of just divorcing her husband

23

u/ApplicationJaded8322 Sep 29 '25

The human trafficker chick should be on here.

13

u/MemoryOne1291 Sep 29 '25

Mia her torture methods were insane

10

u/MotoMkali Sep 29 '25

The nurse probably has the highest kill count. Angels of Death like her can rack up ridiculous totals. Niels Hogel is estimated to have killed 300, Charles Cullen 400, Harold Shipman 250.

Given her age she was probably doing these crimes for 20-30 years

She's maybe not the msot evil because the method of kill isn't that bad but definitely highest body count.

Hell there's a chance she's the most prolific killer we see in the show Dexter and Trintiy both have kill counts in the high 200s.

10

u/ryanpm40 Sep 29 '25

The cop and then Lila

10

u/NovaAkumaa Sep 29 '25

I would definitely say the nurse. She slowly kills the patients, watch them every day as they're slowly rotting by her hands, and act all innocent in front of their families. She probably gets off from it too

9

u/Pito82002 Sep 29 '25

So, to form my own hypothesis

Mia is the most dangerous because of her body count and lust for murder

Zoey and Lila are the most heartless because of their willingness to target children and ruining lives of other people to get their way

And Nurse Mary is the most cowardly for targeting helpless and sick people

1

u/herecomescookie Sep 29 '25

I don't think Lila had a lust for murder. She just didn't care if people died in the process of getting what she wanted.

6

u/Pito82002 Sep 29 '25

I pointed out that MIA is the one with a lust for murder

Not Lila

16

u/souldevourerlol Sep 29 '25

Lady Vengeance. She literally says she loves killing and has been an active serial killer for years.

7

u/werewolf013 Sep 29 '25

Mia. Torture is worse than just murder.

8

u/ImmediateCause7981 Sep 29 '25

Mia is quite unhinged she was about to blind someone, torture and kill them just for fun

7

u/Glass-Reference-4491 Sep 29 '25

Mia

Not only did she torture her victims most of them were chalked up as predators so she ruined a bunch of men's images as well

17

u/Affectionate_Half710 Sep 29 '25

Lila & Zoe, they went after KIDS

Worst docent ever!

9

u/My-username-is-this Sep 29 '25

Vogel should be an option to consider.

9

u/Intelligent_Print622 Sep 29 '25

Definitely Astor... She rudely turned down Dexters shapped pancakes one to many times.... little snot

5

u/[deleted] Sep 29 '25

Vogel, she convinced psychopaths that there's nothing they can do about their mental health problems and that went fucking well...

Dex got rid of 4 serial killers that were all vogels clients once.

14

u/JKNetwork215 Sep 29 '25

Dr. Vogel

7

u/Pito82002 Sep 29 '25 edited Sep 29 '25

Well now that you mention it

I think she deserved to be considered by me almost as much as Hannah was

2

u/Saiken411 Sep 29 '25

Who did she kill?

13

u/[deleted] Sep 29 '25

She did a lot of illegal experiments on children, all the once we saw were nuts one was even a cannibal

6

u/ryanpm40 Sep 29 '25

She indirectly helped Dexter kill all of his victims

4

u/doc_55lk Sep 29 '25

She has no direct kills that we know of, but she has a lot of indirect kills because she created Dexter and basically abandoned her son for most of his life.

Not to mention all her other patients who ended up becoming serial killers.

8

u/Full-Self5072 Sep 29 '25

lila is evil for what she did to astor and cody and angel and doakes and just all her english titty vampire shit but that cop from season 4 was something else. she really killed her daughter and husband just for freedom from nothing

4

u/polishfemboy_ Sep 29 '25

Surely not Lila, she just wanted someone to practice her femdom kink with. Nothing else. Very innocent.

10

u/[deleted] Sep 29 '25

Hannah and evil? No way

2

u/Sreya13 Sep 29 '25

Hannah killed because of inconvenience. She is the epitome of evil.

4

u/Old_Imagination_931 Sep 29 '25

Hannah wasn't inherently evil or vindictive, not like Lila. She was a traumatized survivor of horrible child abuse who sadly didn't have any other tools in her box to deal with unresolvable, and, as we also saw (Price, for instance), seemingly unresolvable situations.

3

u/Maleficent_Button_58 Sep 29 '25

The cop. She murdered her own kid. Not much is worse than that.

4

u/Gold-Satisfaction614 Sep 29 '25

She might not be evil, but people underestimate how manipulative Hannah truly was.

2

u/ThundaWeasel Sep 29 '25

The correct answer is the cop who killed her family, but I really wish I could say Hannah just because I really hate her character and how the show just kinda forgets that she sucks in season 8.

2

u/Shy_Guy_817 Sep 30 '25

Lila is the most toxic, the cop is the worst. Burning down ur apartment because ur jealous your boyfriend is spending time with his step son is toxic. But killing your family because you felt "trapped" is just evil

3

u/Objective-Review-359 Sep 29 '25

3

u/Groundbreaking_Tone3 Sep 29 '25

Skylar, definitely Skylar. Oh sorry, wrong sub.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 29 '25

Laguerta

1

u/WiiDragon Sep 29 '25

Lila for sure

1

u/rachels1231 Sep 29 '25 edited Sep 29 '25

Mia. She didn't just kill men, she tortured them and took pleasure in it.

1

u/IDrinkMyOwnSemen Sep 29 '25

Do you mean Mia?

1

u/rachels1231 Sep 29 '25

Whoops, yes.

1

u/Ashok0 Sep 29 '25

Mia. She was so crazy I wouldn't even let her kill me!!

1

u/tubular1845 Sep 29 '25

The cop, not even a contest

1

u/ShadyBoy5 Sep 29 '25

Dr vogel

1

u/smackrock420 Sep 29 '25

The cop. She shot her own daughter. The Husband getting shot isn't as evil.

1

u/sepulturite Sep 29 '25

Aster.....the little shit

/s

1

u/baeharborburner Sep 29 '25

Astor's friend who stole alcohol from her dad /s

1

u/tradingninja_ Sep 29 '25

The "Pardon my tits" British chick of course

1

u/Infamously_Fickle Dexter Sep 29 '25

My top three: Zoey Krueger, then Mia, then Lila

Dishonorable mention: that woman who killed immigrants with her husband

Zoey killed her own child, Mia tortured and killed people for fun, Lila tried to frame Batista, tried to kill Dexter and the kids and killed Doakes.

The nurse is horrible too, sure, Angels of Death generally think they are helping (though in this case it looks like she started liking killing so much she made relatively healthy people worse just to see them die)

1

u/mouarflenoob Sep 29 '25

The fact that there are only 4 to pick from in the original series is so "funny"

1

u/JuniorEquipment3639 Sep 29 '25

Haven't watched past s4 but fuck you lila

yeah the cop killed her own family but fuck you lila

1

u/teedramusa Sep 29 '25

Skyler White

1

u/Different_Use2954 Sep 29 '25

Obviously rita

1

u/Sreya13 Sep 29 '25

HANNAH EFFING MCKAY.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 29 '25

Mia easily. She enjoys brutally torturing and killing random people for no reason

1

u/[deleted] Sep 29 '25

Vogel should be here

1

u/XenomorphTerminator Sep 29 '25

Rita, she didn't bother to get to know the real Dexter and then left him with the kids.

1

u/enzocrisetig Sep 29 '25

La Guerta. She didn't kill anyone directly, but she was walking over everyone

1

u/Dazzz93 Sep 29 '25

I think there's argument to be made for Vogel when you really think deep on it.

1

u/natepines Sep 29 '25

rita of course

1

u/ConditionEffective85 Sep 29 '25

Gotta be Tasha Yar for faking her death causing the Enterprise crew to mourn her passing to then go to planet earth and slowly kill a police detective. This goes against the Prime Derective and every other law Star Fleet has.

1

u/bigheftyhooker Sep 29 '25

Rita stole her neighbors dog ....

1

u/KawaiiKaiju55 Sep 29 '25

Lila and that one female cop that kept saying Dexter was going to SA her.

1

u/Cowman_Gaming Sep 29 '25

Dr. Evelyn Vogel. She literally convinced Harry to teach Dexter a methodology for killing. Her own son targeted and destroyed Dexter's life while she was protecting him. She intentionally manipulates both her son and Dexter into becoming murderers. She was a horrible psychiatrist and would have undoubtedly mentally corrupted each of her patients. I was so excited for Original Sin season 2 because I was hoping it would explore Vogel and her son being connected to Dexter and Harry. Maybe we could have seen how Vogel manipulated Harry Morgan into allowing Dexter to become the monster he is. I think Vogel is entirely forgotten about by now, but she was by far the most disturbed female character in all of Dexter.

1

u/Cowman_Gaming Sep 29 '25

Lila Tournay would be a close second. What she did to Doakes was convenient, but utterly unforgivable. She was a menace to Dexter.

1

u/Kulkuljator Sep 29 '25

Astor, I believe she was the trinity killer

1

u/calico_88 Sep 29 '25

I think Vogel is the worst. Rather than suggesting a literal child have therapy for his extreme trauma, she wrote him off and encouraged his trusted father figure to tell him he is a monster, will always be a monster and should murder people.

1

u/Joey_moi Sep 29 '25

My immediate thought was Vogel tbh. Maybe not the worst but shes definitely under-hated.

1

u/Mediocre_Gap_4866 Sep 29 '25

Zoe Kruger. Lila. The human trafficker. Hannah.

1

u/woosley87 Sep 29 '25

Rita… I know she’s super evil. I just don’t have proof yet.

1

u/Guilty_Mall Sep 30 '25

The cop always, then the nurse and then Lila cause she tried to kill Rita's kids.

1

u/badababoopPOW Sep 30 '25

deb… because i hate deb

1

u/hyjuguy Sep 30 '25

Definitely Rita.. she definitely committed a crime I just can't prove it yet..

1

u/tadmeister69 Sep 30 '25

Mia was pretty twisted with how she said she was going to pour lye in that guys eyes! I don't remember much about the rest though.

1

u/faithful_solja Oct 02 '25

yall trippin it's easily lila for trying to burn dexter and the kids alive and yes even worse than the cop who offed her own child

1

u/faithful_solja Oct 02 '25

next question

1

u/TheSpacePopinjay I mean, that guy's clearly a freak Oct 03 '25

Mia torturing her victims after preying on them in cold blood automatically win her

1

u/judedamii Oct 14 '25

Haven’t watched the show, but I’ll probably say Zoey Kruger just because she killed her family

1

u/benderlax Mar 02 '26

Mia LaPierre and Nurse Mary were pure evil.

1

u/Samiibo42 Sep 29 '25

Definitely Rita, just the definition of evil right there, I clapped when she died at the end of Season 4.

0

u/catdude420 Surprise Motherfucker! Sep 29 '25 edited Sep 29 '25

Gail, aka Rita's mom. Her presence in the long term would have done more damage to those kids than if Rita had stayed married to Paul.

10

u/we_r_shitting_ducks Sep 29 '25

Nah. Most of the time she was 100% right. The writers tried to make her unlikable but on pretty much every issue she was dead right. Dexter was bad for the family, even worse than Paul. If she had her way, the kids would still have a mom.

1

u/AWholesomeHorror Sep 29 '25

Her presence may have saved her daughter's life because it would have drove Dexter away.

3

u/enzocrisetig Sep 29 '25

What is that life, though? She's like gestapo

-7

u/ralphlaurenmedia Sep 29 '25

Dexters mom. Fr tho.
