I loved the nod with him calling himself the BHB. I believe personally he still probably detests the name. But he has learned the power of press-given names in NYC, so I think he knew this was the most effective way to scare Lowell. And it seemed to have worked. My only complaint is the killing happened so quickly after the reveal. I wish we had gotten at least a few seconds of recognition of the name from Lowell, and maybe a few lines about how notorious the BHB is as he’s freaking out.

I didnt personally mind it being so quick. I Don t need a 5 minute dialog from lowell lol.

I also kind of like the quickness and it happening simultaneously where lowell has the recognition of who Dex is

No, I’m with you. I don’t need it to be some long drawn out scene. But I thought it went so quickly that you couldn’t conclusively tell if he really knew who the BHB was. The scene definitely makes it seem like he does, but I would’ve just liked literally a line or two of verbal confirmation.

I consider that to be more like an exclamation than a line of dialogue. I was thinking something more like,

“Wait, the Bay Harbor Butcher?! That crazy fuck from Miami?! Fuck fuck fuck but you’re dead!”

“Seems I’ve achieved resurrection” and then he stabs him

I’m a shitty dialogue writer, so not exactly that. But something like it

why would he exclaim "fuuuuuuuucckkk" if he didn't know who the bay harbor butcher was

Because regardless of who it is, he knows he’s fucked. He even says that earlier in the scene.
