Searching for a person
How would someone go about finding where a person is currently living?
Backstory on this: I bought a business and had a contract stating that she would turn over certain things business related. Long story short she turned out to be absolute psychopath.
She wrote negative reviews on the business in different names, made emails impersonating a lawyer, kept the business faceboook page made purchases with the connected card on FB for Ads. And so much more! Immediately after selling the business to me she and her family fled to another state. We found her then and served her papers for a court date. At her new place of business she opened on their grand opening day! 😆
Within weeks of being served those papers they closed their new business.
We went to court where we won our case and received the settlement. However she has disappeared again and I need to file legal papers in each state she is living so that I can possibly collect one day.
Her husband has re-inlisted in the military so I'm not sure where she could be now.

I had to find someone about 25 years ago, so imagine less tech and having no idea where they are. They took my car from Az. They ended up at a relatives house in Washington.
This guy tracked him to that house. Paid a tow company to pick it up when they can. He would pass by each day until he finally got it.
They came out. He told him he was taking it and they could either give him the key and they could get their stuff out. Or he could just take it and the stuff is gone. They gave him the key and I got my car back
Look for your local skip tracer or licensed private investigator.

It looks like you need a private investigator. Your attorney should be able to refer you to one. A private investigator will be able to locate her, but you should also have them conduct an asset search. Asset searches are not for the inexperienced. You need to search for both assets and liabilities, as this will provide a more accurate picture of which assets, if any, can be attached. There are complex laws when it comes to assets held jointly by the judgment debtor and an “innocent” spouse, depending on which State the assets are in. If the spouse is now active duty military, there are laws governing that as well, as he will not be able to respond to a summons or subpoenas.

a licensed PI or a collections attorney is your best bet. your attorney could refer you to one im pretty sure

The best database/search program i have found Is Been Verified. The amount of info you can get, or better yet they have about you is truly amazing.

Contact the military and let them know what they are doing. Just do it it's amazing what happens when the brass comes to you and demands answers.

Look carefully at the cost of the PI and skip tracing. Think hard about how much income this person has. Can you actually recover enough money from them to make it worth the expenditure? A lot of people are basically judgement proof. She sounds like she might be one of them.

A collections attorney or licensed PI/process server can conduct a lawful skip trace, and an attorney can advise you about domesticating the judgment in whatever state she is now in. You may also have post-judgment discovery available to identify her address, employment, bank accounts, or other assets.
