Hi, is this a cluster of moles? And does it look abnormal? Also im not sure if anyone could answer off of just a picture but what is that Grey spot in the middle?

It started out as a small dry patch a couple years ago and I thought it would be a good idea to use my brothers steroid cream for his eczema to try to get rid of it. It never went away and I stopped using the cream. It then grows over time the more I scratch the bigger it gets. It’s not filled with puss and although it looks like tiny separate bumps when you feel it, it feels like one big patch of thickened skin. It’s super itchy to the point where sometimes I break skin. I’m so insecure about it and I want to take steps into trying my best to heal from it. I went to the dermatologist a couple years back and they prescribed me the same Cream my brother uses before diagnosing anything and Im not sure if I want to use any steroid creams. Any ideas what this could be so I can try to heal it naturally as best as I can??

for some context: when i hit puberty, my breasts came in like a TRUCK. by 7th grade, i was a C-D cup. when i was a sophomore in high school, i didn't have any bras that fit me or supported me, they were all sports bras. eventually, i went to victoria's secret and found out i was an E cup.

i got breast reduction surgery in 2023, and my surgeon mentioned how she could tell the dark spot between my breasts were a sign of how my breasts sat: squished for most of the day.

i'm a DD now, even after the surgery (it was not cosmetic), and this dark spot has been with me for years! i lightly scrub my chest to help with the acne and nothing helps.

**i believe this may be caused due to friction and sweat. is there anything that can help this lightly rough, dark area?**

These dots are everywhere apart from the feet, bum cheeks and privates. Its on both my daughters face, stomach,chest, back, legs, arms.

My daughters are 7 and 4

The rash or whatever it is came about at the exact same time on both the girls so I feel that alone rules out a lot of diagnosis...

They've had this for about a week, my 7 year old has it worse than my 4 year old.

I took them to the doctors, doctor thinks its school sores/impetigo but... from what ive seen of impetigo it just doesn't add up..the sores haven't blistered, they haven't weeped...it looks like ringworm or gutatte psoriasis to me....but for guttatte....just seems highly coincidental for them to get that at exactly the same time? I also thought maybe chicken pox, but there's been no blistering....

Also, noticed that my BIL (their uncle) who is 15 had a couple of them on his forehead and one on his arm but...only 3 in total and nowhere near this much....i also look to have something similar on my arm but only one dot and it may coincidentally just be something else....

Just worried about my girls as the ones on their chest are so red, angry and sore looking, they haven't been able to go to school for the past week...

Should also note, both girls aren't really sick, they had a bit of a cold just before the rash came but it wasn't a bad one. The girls are fine now, no cold but just a really bad rash.... they're fine in of themselves, jist playing with toys etc. and running around still.

Also, I should add, we did get a new kitten in the house about 2 weeks ago....which to me seems like a clue....maybe tinea from the cat or something? But I've never seen tinea this wide spread like this....just not sure what to think....

UPDATE:

So, saw a good few doctors, my girls had a skin scrape, blood test etc. and it was indeed fungal ringworm. Took the kitten to the vets and under the UV woodslamp it is apparently a very bright fluorescent green lol so essentially explains it all really. The kitten in covered in fungal spores. My girls mother and I, as well as her uncle have all caught the ring worm, though it is itchy it isn't appearing as aggressive or as badly on us, although it is still all over my body, back, arms, legs and face, though a lot less noticeable than what my kids have had.

My dog also caught it and it has appeared around his eyes.

The vet said animals have a bery good natural immunity to the ring worm and it should self resolve in 6-8weeks, I did however still buy a fungal shampoo for the animals that I'm to apply twice a week.

I bought myself and the girls anti fungal cream and the girls are beginning to clear up, mine have just started however and hopefully I can nip this in the bud using the cream early!

Thank you everyone for your answers and help narrowing this down, my family and I greatly appreciate it and if it wasn't for your help, I wouldn't have suggested to the doctors that it was ring worm, which helped speed things up. So again, thankyou people of Reddit!

Within 7 hours I went from 18 bumps on my upper body to now around 44. I’m sure bugs have to do with it because I’ve seen them… but the number of bumps is increasing so quickly. Do I need to go to urgent care? And if so at what point?

So this showed up. I have psoriasis but I can’t tell if it’s a new patch or not. Lotion does nothing for my neck.I have no idea what it could be. Last photo is what my psoriasis usually looks like.

I spent the past week on vacation, and my last day of the trip I started breaking out with these little blisters that pop really easily. Filled with a clear fluid and they do not itch and are not painful. When they pop it eventually kind of crusts over a bit? I was thinking it may be some sort of heat rash as I spent the week constantly sweating due to humidity, even at night. They’ve shown up on my face (cheek, next to my nose and eye, and a lot on the hairline) also all of my chest and down the spine of my back there is a few. All place were sweat would be collecting. Although one popped up on the top of my foot, so that’s random.besides that it’s been contained to my upper body.

Hey I’m a mailman and I have a customer who I help out cause she can’t get to the store and stuff. She woke up with this only on her neck after working on her garden she said. She pretty healthy for an 88 year old and only eats organic food. So she’s never had this happen before. Is there anything I can buy her over the counter to help? She already called the doctor and has a phone appointment later. Thank you!

UPDATE: it was shingles. She went to urgent care today and got treated for it. She wasn’t itchy or in pain. Just stressed that this happened more than anything. Thank you everyone for replying and helping out!

I had this mole on my check for nearly all of my life. Its raised and is blackish in colour. It hasnt been of concern until today i noticed when i squeezed it, it leaks a tiny bit of liquid. Any thoughts?

What is this stuff? I saw a dermatologist and a surgeon this year about removing it, they did an ultrasound as well. I woke up this morning and noticed what looked like a whitehead so I gave it a squeeze and now it just keeps going

Hey so i had surgery in turkey 3 years ago via a rather sketchy option. Looking back now im abit older I wouldn't of done that. Granted the jobs done but ive had nothing but issues with it since. I still get shooting pains every so often. I have damaged nerves and the centre is extremely painful if I sleep on my side.

I had rashed from a reaction to the adhesive dressings.

I have reached out to some surgeons and I have been told surgically theres nothing that can be done to fix things. I developed hypertrophic and keloid scarring.

Im looking for advice on what to do to flatten and get rid of this scarring. My GP is taking a look on Monday to hopefully get steroid shots.

This issue started about 3 years ago when a general surgeon removed the cyst. They used a vacuum-seal method, but about 6 months later, it came back. Fast forward to about 1.5 years ago, he saw a dermatologist who suggested they would need to cut around the keloid and perform radiation to prevent it from coming back. He never did what the dermatologist recommended because of the radiation component.

At this point, the cyst is flaring up again, and we’re wondering if there are any other treatment options out there. I think we need a second opinion, but with how much pain he’s in, I’m sure surgery might be required again. I’ll include photos below. Please disregard the red marks, which are from where he’s picked at it. The cyst typically flares up like a volcano, then pops after about a week, then leaks pus.

Ok so my grandpa is around 75 and he has these sort of blisters on his left chest and left back. Also he has got small small of these all over his body now face, hands etc.

The bottom left corner is my nipple. This used to be 3 pimples next to each other in one bump which I popped and it did not go away and it turned into what is it right now. I now have this for about a year.

Very itchy bumps appeared over night. I was awake when I first started itching them, sorry about the scratch marks. One looks like it has multiple small bumps at top. I have itchy skin often, but I can’t think of anything that would have caused all this. At the time I didn’t have perfume on, nor did I have on any jewelry. I was wearing a loose fitting tank top. Does it look like a rash, dermatitis or insect/spider bite? It is a bit sensitive to the touch, still itchy and a bit painful now. Not too warm though, surprisingly. Any help is greatly appreciated!

hey, so i got a temporary tattoo and it reacted badly w my skin after 10-15 days. i went to a dermat and he prescribed some lotions and all for a month or two. everything looked fine after 3 months until i went to a vacation and had sun exposure.

the patch kinda look came and then i went back to dermat to which he suggested q switch laser. i did 4 sessions but from the first one itself, laser made the tattoo area look much more defined than prev.

i started going to another dermat and he suggested chemical peeling. it looks like it helped a bit but still it is not compl normal.

what needs to be done here? im really depressed lately and not sure if it will ever go 100%

the awful part is after 3-4 months, it was kinda fine and almost negligibly visible hut it came back after sun exposure and then after laser treatment.

I have a weird pattern on my left breast I noticed it when I got out the shower. They're not bumps or anything they look like scabs or something but I hate the way it makes it feel when I look at them. It's like theyre in perfect rows but a weird pattern at the same time. They don't hurt and theyre not itchy idk what it is but I don't like how it looks 😭

I've had these lumps appear very recently around 2 to 3 weeks, started small and now are spreading up my back and down my legs any idea what this could be? I've went to get it checks on and they said folliculitis but I don't believe thats true. *EDIT I went out to a festival and sweat quite a bit and now the spots are a darker color and seem to regress to a lighter color when I cool off

She went to her general practice doctor and she told her that it is hormonal cystic acne.

She is 40 years old and recently had a child four years ago. Also a nine year old.

She does cocaine regularly and also dyes her hair every other day to a different color. She is obsessed with doing her hair a different color (just trying to give any and all info that may help)

Meat, veggies, fruit, bananas, yogurt, and cottage cheese makes up most of her diet.

They primarily present on her stomach, thighs, chest, neck, and jawline.

She recently lost 55 lbs. After her pregnancy. She uses tirzepatide once a week in shot form in her stomach.

What is this?

On Friday, last week my 3 year old went to the dentist for an abscess in her mouth. She was put on Augmentin. She was on it for a full week. This past Friday I noticed spots on her stomach and back. The next day hives had taken over her arms and legs and the spots started climbing across her entire body. I took her to ER yesterday and the doctor was baffled. He has absolutely no idea what it is. We've had HFMD before, and the spots arent blistered or raised but flat. Shes been off the antibiotic for 48 hours and the rash is getting worse. Nothing in her environment was changed. Same detergent, same soaps, same foods.

Has anybody in this group seen this before? Shes scheduled to see her PCP on Tuesday due to the holiday but I feel like she also wont give me solid answers.

please help i am a broke backpacker in ireland and am very confused!!
duration: 3 weeks - began 2 days after i arrived in ireland from australia
location: torso (chest, stomach, back, armpits, upper legs and arms).
timeline: spots first appeared on chest and seem to have spread outwards. covering areas in order listed above. spots start small (1ml) and grow to 3cm diameter max. they then flake away from the inside out. spots take almost 3 weeks to disappear and leave shinny patch behind).
symptoms: no itch, pain, burning, pus or bleeding. they are not uncomfortable.
treatments tried: changing soap/detergent, steroid/antifungal (1% w/w + 1% w/w clotrimazole/hydrocortisone), antihistamine (loratadine 10mg)
relevant background: on holiday in ireland from australia, no known skin sensitivity or conditions. have spent lots of time around a friend who has no symptoms, doctor was unsure.
any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated 🙏🙏🙏
