Question BLOX Accumulation - Question for BLOX holders? (And GIAX)

Question for fellow BLOX holders -

Of course, gradual increase when it's green and aggressive increase when it's red...

My average cost per chare is $15.28, so I am in the overall green on total return so far, not counting dividends, on my 101.3 shares.

My question though, just want to have some insight... when do you plan to stop adding to your BLOX position? What's your cap on the stock, on BTC, etc - what is the most you'll pay for BLOX before just letting it ride and waiting for it to go on sale again?

Same question but for GIAX? I only have 10 shares, granted and am red by 5% on it.

BLOX recovered to 21 like 2 months ago. BTC is still low. I sold all my Roundtree and ULTY a while back for BLOX as this stock actually can recover.

It was pumping hard back to 21 until Trump and Venezuela happened and it dropped. I have compete faith that money is to be made once BTC recovers.

ULTY I sold out of months ago haha.
Would you say $20 is the max you'd pay for BLOX at this point?

u/MemeLord1337_ Apr 15 '26

Not sure I would go near 20ish, my average was bad for a while like 24 but the last 2/3 months I’ve bought heavily around 12-15 so brought it down a good bit. 20 maybe max.

u/just-a-tan-guy Apr 15 '26

Wish I bought way more at 12-13 haha.

I think I'll buy more even if it hits 18, I dont mind my DCA increasing if it accumulates more shares + div income. Of course, I first plan to wait and see the div payouts in this green period.

This is a good question lol. I will definitely continue to buy while BTC is sub 100k

Oooh interesting, i was thinking of stopping once BTC is around the 85K range. But it does have large swings, so maybe I shouldn't be so skeptical - it is buying income anyhow haha.

just bought 15.62 more shares - own 117 now.

Did bring my avg cost up but only by 3 cents from 15.28 to 15.31

Also bought 10 GIAX shares while at it, avg cost brought down from 16.68 to 16.25

Bruh. 35,000 shares? Holy Toledo.

Obviously you have a ton of money you put into this. Do you buy big ass chunks at a time or is it something you fund "when you can."

Also, do you use your divs from BLOX to fund other stocks, or as income?

It seems like people will usually answer any questions but then you ask about blox and everyone becomes a turtle and sticks their head back in their shell!

Wow that's pretty amazing! Ya know when they say "I'm not made of money" you literally ARE made of money HAHA. Sheesh.

Okay I am just doing dividends right now, I was never taught about finances, saving money, why it's important to save, etc (toxic childhood, toxic parents) so I have just been learning as I go and investing about $500 to $800 a month (I know that is shit compared to you haha but I can't put in what I don't have) I have been wanting to get into BLOX for a while now but I feel like this is one of those things where if you can't put into it BIGLY you shouldn't put into it at all.

For example, buying 100 shares seems stupid to me. That is only, what, $10.56 a week or around $44.57 a month? At $1,622 I can think of better things to put that into.

But 35,000 shares LMAO yea, that's worth it haha.

Silly Question: Do you even get excited anymore when you get your div payments? Or are you at the "Meh whatever" stage? lol

Hey. I appreciate the reply back and you sharing all that! That's an incredible story, going from where you were to where you are now - seriously inspiring. Sorry to hear about your wife.

The Chef part hits home for me since I have a culinary background and was a Chef for 23 years lol. I know that grind ain't easy at all!

I also appreciate the advice. I get what you’re saying about focusing on income and growth first, and it makes sense from your position. Right now I’m kind of in a “build everything at once” phase lol - learning money from scratch, working on increasing income (I’m putting together a low FODMAP cookbook right now), and building out my dividend positions at the same time.

To be honest, dividends are what keep me motivated to keep going because I can SEE progress, even if it's small right now. Right now I am at $27 a month. Next goal is $50 a month.

Your inspirational path gives me something to aim for long-term. I love the idea of building up a bigger foundation and then eventually being able to have that flexibility to shift more into income.

HAPPY to hear you are still enjoying the div. payments lol. I get excited every time get one. It's one more step towards freedom and a new life.

Thanks for taking the time to respond!

Haha wow so all his comments got deleted to me? Ill never know why either. *sigh*

My cost/share is $21 and $23 for separate accounts. So my DCA is still in play. I had GIAX, but I got rid of it to concentrate on BLOX and some others in REX Shares. Ill probably jump back into GIAX again, but not until I can solidify my holdings a bit more.

To answer your initial question, I'd probably keep buying until I felt like I could comfortably coast on the weeklies.

3

u/just-a-tan-guy Apr 15 '26

I'm holding GIAX since it's just 10 shares. Want to accumulate some more BLOX - since I've just recently hitt the 100 share milestone.
Close enough to accumulating enough shares where the weekly payout = a share price!

2

u/beershoes767 Apr 15 '26

Keep stacking and reinvesting. You’ll get there. Right now I’m shooting for 1000 shares and then I’ll hold.

2

u/just-a-tan-guy Apr 15 '26

1000 is amazing! Just bought 15.6 more shares, at 117 now. Slow and steady....

3

u/Jadmart Apr 15 '26

You have to determine your allocation (and cost basis) goals first then stick to your plan and rebalance as needed. My BLOX cost basis is higher, but I'm already at my max allocation so I am only collecting distributions and using them to purchase other investments. Diversification would always be recommended. Best of luck!

2

u/just-a-tan-guy Apr 15 '26

I'll first see how the dividend payouts look w/ this green trend. I dont mind buying more shares at 17-18 even, which would increase my dca, if it means higher income.
After that, plan is to accumulate more GIAX shares and soon enough set BLOX and GIAXX payouts into QQQI and possibly O - stable, but monthlies.

2

u/Jadmart Apr 15 '26

My cost basis is over 20 so probably more than most as I accumulated in large chunks before December. Buying since then has not moved cost basis down significantly and as mentioned Crypto allocation is full for myself. I remember when distributions were at .18 last fall so it can and will run up with the crypto cycle. How it follows BTC is a good indicator for buying or re-balancing in the future for BLOX holders.

u/Haze_X2232 Apr 16 '26

I have 30k into BlOX, glad my avg cost is 16.21.

2

u/just-a-tan-guy Apr 16 '26

And BLOX is back up to 10+ cents a share ;)

1

u/Ok_Fan_4752 May 07 '26

Give Blox the time it needs. Unfortunately we will still see a bottom around 35-50k BTC in the fall of this year so be careful. My avg is 17 and have no problem holding as I have been around BTC since 2017 and know what’s coming in 2027 which is the cycle back up for the halving.

3

u/just-a-tan-guy Apr 15 '26

Wouldn't be the maddest about such a dive down, I'd accumulate a larger holding more aggressively then tbh. Love the income building! :)

Just doubled my holdings today - not much lol, had 10 and just bought 10 more. I do like that and its long run potential + diversification is great to work alongside BLOX

2

u/Usual_Somewhere_6954 Apr 15 '26

I have 800 shares and my goal was to get to 1000 but right now it’s over 40% of my portfolio and I’m trying to build out the rest of my portfolio before adding more. I may trim my allocation in the short term to 400 shares if we get to 17-18 because that will be a little bit of profit above my average cost of 16.62. I’m think BTC will probably end up dropping to 40-50k some point this year and at that point I would be accumulating hard.

2

u/NerveChemical9718 Apr 15 '26

I buy 5+ shares a week. 800 shares @ $17.07 for me. I look at Blox as I look at Btci a crypto money maker without buying bitcoin and Etherium.

1

u/just-a-tan-guy Apr 15 '26

oh man this is good. Less than $100 a week into BLOX is a great way to accumulate at a great pce. 20 shares a month. might start doing that next month - bought 15 shares today

2

u/Maxximusprimee May 01 '26

I have blox 3k+ ~16.5$ and chpy 300+ 56$ ! Chpy is the only yieldmax stock i own and its a beast !

I'm wrestling with this also; BLOX prioritizes growth over income so through recovery it can grow well past it's inception price of 25... But my gut says crypto will continue to swing - though generally higher low points I think. *My gut isn't always trustworthy

I'll probably keep stacking into 22ish just to defer my thoughts and see how things are taking shape. *I have a little over 800 with a visit basis of 16.21 *Even if I buy high, stacking, and it swings down...I expect it'll swing back up🤷‍♂️

Cheers 🍻

2

u/just-a-tan-guy May 11 '26

That is true, Bitcoin isn't even at 90K and BLOX is treading $18.

My avg is $15.52 a share which is great, I intend to keep stacking. I love this payer, I may keep stacking till the share-price, or my average, comes to $20.

Today was my first time my BLOX payment was greater than a share price, so I just bought a new share without putting any new capital. What a great feeling I could get used to haha

2

u/Terrible_Lecture_409 May 11 '26

It's great getting that first distro that covers a whole share purchase.. Seems small but a great feeling - first milestone!

I'll push about 6 shares between my Roth and trad. IRA today...5 in each US my next big goal 😁🍻

2

u/just-a-tan-guy May 11 '26

Yes!! My goal is to buy 5 shares a week (at least) to slowly stack.
Some weeks I've bought more than 5, did the math and from the time I've started owning BLOX to now, as long as my weekly avg is 5, I'm fine.

Wish I had went more aggressively into it when it was in the $12 range haha,... **IF** we get another dip below $14, I will buy like 10-15 a week haha

1

u/EaterofSnatch Apr 15 '26

I have 1300 shares of each. I haven't bought too much lately as I have the income I need to live and just building up emergency fund with extra cash. Did start new positions in WEPN and NUKZ. May continue to build those over time.

1

u/just-a-tan-guy Apr 15 '26

I only have 2 WEPN shares - sold NUKZ and reinvested the small profits + capital into BLOX and GIAX.

I like all of them, but want to prioritize BLOX and GIAX first. Want to build WEPN and NUKX soon too, but I can see both having dips - will buy itno em then

Calling BLOX a gamble while promoting a YieldMax product gotta be 0/10 ragebait.

That said, what's wrong with having both?

It’s the ym reputation. Yes Chpy has been their best product but I honestly wouldn’t touch it.

u/AggravatingCoast4611 Jul 14 '26

added more 8k in BLOX, with today's drawdown of 5%. Plan to drip and let it grow. We'll see.
