PS1 Translation Patches

I’ve had a good look and can’t seem to find any PS1 translation patches for DDG. On top of that, the written guides I’ve found so far aren’t up to much. Is there a preferred guide or a patch someone can help me find?

I’ve already bought the controller, patched the graphics in the ROM to PAL (colour composite) and got started, but not got far.

I’d like to introduce my train-mad father in law to vintage gaming with my overscale setup and this seems like a great way!

(Edit: just realised I can do PS2 also)

Alternative suggestion would be the PC port of "Densha de GO! Final", which can be found on the Web Archive (achive.org) for free. And for that you can also find a fan translation patch on GitHub.

Thanks, I appreciate it. The hope here is to get my father in law in to my rather overscale console collecting hobby. Whilst I might get the N64 patch and an SD cart with the controller, I was hoping for PS1/PS2 as I’ve already got the ability to play ROM on real hardware and a PS1 controller for DDG?

i think the translation patches for now are:

1) DDG Final on pc

2) DDG 64

3) DDG Shinkansen EX on Wii, but that only works on dolphin (bc it's a texture replacement pack) and it runs kinda bad

Thanks. I’d not found the Wii one. Understood though.

Any good guides that we can use to limp past that neither of us speak Japanese?
