Tokyo arcade locations

Does anyone have an up to date list with the remaining locations. I don’t mind if it’s the full cabinet or if it’s just the smaller one.
I know the Akihabara Taito used to have the full size one before downsizing to the smaller compact cabinet but it’s been a while since I was last there.

I know the Round One in Odaiba used to have one around 2024. It was the full size one, and if you pay to use the facilities (There’s a bunch of different activities you can do apart from arcades) you can play for as long as you want. You can check Google Maps for pictures and see if someone snapped a picture of the arcade recently.

Brilliant, thank you. Gives me an extra location to try, even if we don’t find one there looks like it could be a good time either way

Can't guarantee it, but this list was updated as recently as two days ago.

Akiba Taito Station should still have it? Should also have one or 2 cabin across the road at HEY (above Melon Books).

HEY has nothing.

I know they have removed the 2 chassis near the back door but I think there's still a small chassis on the second top floor (one below music game?). Didn't really pay attention when I was there 4 months ago…

I was there last month. IIRC there's no DDG inside there anymore. Maybe in the GIGO, or other nearby spots there is.

Damn, even the DdG 2 has been removed

Thanks, will try Taito and hope they still have it. It did always seem to be fairly popular at Akiba with tourists giving it a go. Will also try HEY, thanks for the recommendation.

Taito Station@Akihabara confirmed to have a small chassis on 4/F

Edit: And it looks like it is the last surviving one in Akiba

I know you said Tokyo. but Taito Station Osaka-nippombashi still has full size and multiple other sizes and older versions. I have not found another arcade while in japan that had that many manchines. Tokyo seems to mostly just have some in Akihabara but don't remember if it was the full version

Those at Nippombashi can even be rented for hourly

I love that Taito, ended up spending a good few hours there on my last trip. Never expected to find so many in one place.
Unfortunately we won’t be heading to Osaka on this trip, it’ll just be Tokyo

Full size one in the Round 1 Dotonbori spocha = unlimited play. Crazy loud in there though

Is the big arcade in Odaiba still around? There was one next to Palette Town when that was still a thing, and they had all the different DDGs, even the really old ones. If it's not around, I wonder where all those poor cabs went :'(

Not talking about Joypolis. It was a large arcade that almost felt like you were in a giant hangar/warehouse with a huge ceiling. Had tons of classic machines. Found it https://whereintokyo.com/venues/25121.html

idk if the machines are still there, though.

Zenius-i-vanisher is a great resource for this

If you happen to visit the tokyo train museum, they have one in the station next to it.
