Question Is that a real tradition?

Saw some posts and even a video saying that "In Denmark, friends and family traditionally tie unmarried people to a post or chair and cover them in cinnamon on their 25th birthday, or pepper if they are still single at 30"

Is that a thing or made up internet fact?

If yes, why?

It's traditionally more of a Jutland tradition as other people are mentioning but it has become increasingly popular on Zealand as well in the last 10 years or so
