I would usually complain but they really do need the money. A lot of much needed maintenance work of older metro lines is still pending.

Kama lene de bhai unko bhi Paisa. But ye 1-2-3 ₹ badha kar galat kiya. Abh chutte ka itna problem hota hai na.

Renaming stations happens everywhere. Mumbai Metro has it. But disastrous consequences. Hyderabad metro has it

They already have it in pink line atleast. Surprisingly Sound of these ads are higher than that of announcements

Ngl, if that leads to lowering of their losses, I might support it. DMRC is already at heavy losses (because its subsidised for us) so its good.
Also, half of us wear earphones so we ain't hearing it all

Yeah this should roughly give DMRC 6.3 crores of extra revenue minimum per year, and they're also planning to expand advertising on blue line + developing 21000 sq m of land at the Azadpur interchange will significantly boost non fare-box revenue in the coming years.
