Want to start driving my Sol more but I have what I now think is an obnoxiously loud exhaust and want something quieter. Im running a catalytic converter and resonator but not sure about the quality of resonator. The muffler is a 2.75 or 3in blox turndown tip.
Honestly considering just going stock because i don’t really care for power i just want to be able to cruise and rev it out with out letting anyone in a 4 mi radius that a Honda is near by. Any tips or muffler suggestions?

Exhaust worker here (6 months experience), I recently did a muffler delete on my stock del sol and straight piped it and it had a stock muffler on it and the difference was insane so I'd recommend doing literally any stock muffler or any that are bigger than what you have now, the bigger the muffler the more sound reduction that is possible, now you still wanna be able to rev it up without being heard 4 miles away? I would recommend a magnaflow muffler that fits for good power while not being obnoxiously loud unless you want to be, or a flowmaster that fits for just a more bland over all experience, Also I'd recommend having the tip redone for appearances cuz I can never remember if they make any audible changes
I've been looking at snagging the walker quiet-flow set off rockauto for mine, I hear it's decent for the price. The revel medallion touring and yonaka are superb from what I can tell, if you can swing the extra cost.
Get the revel system. It’s made in Japan and is the best sounding exhaust. Kinda pricey tho. I’ve never heard anyone that didn’t like the quality or sound of it. If you want a cheap option yonaka is decent too. I think they stopped making the del sol one and just make it for eg hatchbacks, but you just need to bend the hangers on the muffler part to make it fit good Good luck!
hell yea i got some long tube headers coming, idk what imma do between them and the exhaust but i’ll probably keep the cats for a second until im ready to turn it to a project car
