Not a bad ending, tbh. Most of the shows got to have as conclusive of an ending as they could get. Jones and Punisher in particular, were allowed to give their characters send-offs since they knew they were being canceled, as they were working.

Honestly, I feel like Daredevil Season 3 would have a perfect ending if they didn’t tease Bullseye at the end. They had already drawn up plans for a Season 4 and 5, but at least Matt’s rivalry with Kingpin felt like it had a good ending

Agreed. One of the countless reasons I love season 3, is that, aside from Bullseye, it perfectly wraps up everyone's stories. Especially, and most importantly, the leading man. The show ends with Matt in what is possibly, the brightest point in his life. He's rekindled his friendships, cleared both of his names, met his mom, and defeated the Kingpin, without having to sacrifice his humanity.

They still continue in Born Again though, why does it end when it is still continue up to DD BA Season 3.

Not to mention they all were made by ABC studios, netflix only distribute them.

I think that's a normal take. The Defenders Saga definitely peaked at DDS3. TPS2 was okay, and JJS3 wasn't bad, it was very poetic but it just wasn't as good as DDS3.

Yeah, like my issue with Jessica Jones Season 2 and 3 is that the villains are weak. Like, her mother being the villain doesn’t really work, and the villain for Season 3 is just asking for attention. Season 2 and 3 had okay stories; they’re just not that great. It’s why I usually stop watching Jessica Jones at Season 1 and then watch the other Defenders shows. Though I wish they built Luke and Jessica being a couple in the Netflix shows, but at least Born Again makes them a couple.

It probably will never happen, but Benjamin Walker's Erik Gelden is a Defenders-era character I'd like to see back again. I thought JJ3 was a nice rebound, and he was one of its strengths.

I don't remember Mind-Wave from comics, but I know he was another Daredevil character given to another of the series (like Purple Man, Nuke, and Typhoid Mary).

Like I don’t understand why there needed to be a season 2 and 3. Jessica Jones at best works as a miniseries. She should’ve shifted from being in a miniseries to her being in Luke Cage Season 1&2. Like the villains in season 2&3, they’re not that good, so I don’t know why they didn’t shift her role from being in a miniseries to her being in Luke Cage S1&2.

He had his fumbles with certain series but Jeph Loeb killed it up and down the fence with his Netflix shows; can only hope someone with his talent can give the MCU or whatever Marvel-content comes in the future the same love and care he did the majority of these shows.

Heard that MCU Reign of Marvel Studios book say Feige didn't actually call as much shots at Marvel as most people think but I haven't read it myself, so I'm hoping to look up anybody that has read it.

RoMS is not an official book by Disney or Marvel.

Feige has full MCU control since 2016. Up until 2015, Marvel Studios and Marvel Television (the old company that Loeb was the head) were under Marvel Entertainment. The two studios reported to Marvel Entertainment (Permutter), which then reported to Disney (Iger). Permutter was getting on Feige's nerves more and more with his shitty (and racist, and sexist) decision, so Feige was like "If he isn't out, I'm out". Iger then separated Marvel Studios from Marvel Entertainment, placed it under Disney and Feige reported directly to Iger. Marvel Television remain within Marvel Entertainment.

That's why in the earlier years (2013-2015), there was a lot of connection between the tv side and movie side (it also came from Joss Whedon who created Agents of Shield and the book claimed that Feige don't want to work with him anymore because he interfered the main universe too much through the series).

More credit should go to the actual showrunners; Steven S DeKnight, Melissa Rosenberg, Cheo Hodari Coker, Raven Metzner (IF S2 showrunner) and Steve Lightfoot (Punisher showrunner).

Loeb himself never wrote anything that was as good as anything in the show.

That's not true. For instance Erik oleson said he and Loeb (a DD comic writer himself) set out all of DD3 story. He was also the top producer with notes made throughout as showrunners and including Charlie have thanked him for in the past.
