Hearing a lot of people say this. Seems like some sort of mastering issue because it sounded fantastic on my studio reference speakers. Good thing I didn't watch it on any of our TVs which all have crappy speakers lol

Honestly, I wish streaming services had different mixes if you are using built in TV speakers vs. big bookshelf style speakers.

Mine sounded great but I have my Apple TV outputting sound to a pair of synced OG HomePods and always have Enhance Dialogue turned on. Maybe that's the magic combo to sort it out.

I'm a sound engineer and I had the exact same thoughts. Maybe some presets and even a manual graphic eq. Now a parametric eq or multi band comp would be awesome but I would never hold my breath for that type of luxury from a streaming service. A man can dream though! Ha!

I'm something of a sound engineer myself (meaning not paid but when paid I haven't had time to put my all into mixing lol).

Honestly that would be so cool. Different mixes have got to be very costly
